:thwak: Meanwhile back on topic , 1st project , '53 Ford with a de-stroked Edsel /Tri-power carbs / Fender exit headers ( w/quick release dump-caps ) / 9" locker / Model A straight front axel . .....High school hot rods were all the rage in 1965
The other end of the equation is the CCV , if the VC grommet or the plastic tube to the throttle body are full of crud the system won't function correctly , this will pressurize the valve cover and pump oil into the air box thru the breather tube you are refering to . You can clean them out , but the grommet and tube are cheap to replace with new parts
:agree: Calcium Carbonate solution filled tires is used to counter-balance in most high lift construction equipment ( Skytrak eg. ) I've seen lots of guys fix a flat with a plug and re-fill with air , then the next high lift .......over goes the machine , Expensive
I just found another version , made in Canada no less :Canadaflag: They don't have MJ model yet . This is a pretty slick set up , here's the link http://www.fastkap.com/index.html
Had simular event , replaced H/L switch , happened again so started wiggling any connector I could find in the circuit . Finally found a loose wire at the steering column plug in for Hi/Lo switch operated by the turn signal stalk . :dunno: Worth a try before throwing cash at it
Have a look at "Go Jeep"'s site from Australia , he has a mod (flow reducer ) to hold coolant in the block longer , it looks simple and it might work for you . http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/index.htm
Welcome , Your MJ looks pretty good in your avatar but try using "photo bucket " or simular to post . :thumbsup:There's a sticky in the - Forum problems and websight ideas - section to guide you thru it.....Gord
