spicers are nice, but nearly 3x the price of the cheapies.

all BA10s are 21 spline output (thus their t-cases are 21spline input) and all AX15s are 23 spline output (thus their t-cases are 23spline) don't know about the 4cyl trannys but i do know that the AW4 was 21 spline through til 1990 and 1991 started 23 spline AW4s

clean up the battery connections, and make sure the cables aren't corroded at all. common problem with the starter clicking and it not starting, happens to me every once in a while i just hit the connections lightly or move em around a bit i love the name of this project... how appropriate haha. -
i have an alpine, been almost a year.. brother had an aiwa (looks nice, makes noise, goood features) that ran subs and stuff for 2 years, and is now in moms XJ fulltime. so it's going on 3yrs. pioneer is good stuff.

don't fix what aint broke. ZJ steering would do fine, 700lbs in the bed isnt near the force of a 35" tire supporting the weight of the truck with it's sidewall. and i don't know about your stock setup, but my truck steers with a pinky finger. its BEAUTIFUL. i LOVE the way the wheel feels. if you're planning a 4x4 conversion SOON i would still not waste the money on one of these upgrades, because you have to ream the knuckles for JCR steering, but I'm not sure about the others. and that means $$ at a shop.

ugh. u-joints. last time i asked for an axleshaft u-joint and he looked at me like i was out of my g-d mind. i was like... NOT a d/s ujoint, an AXLESHAFT. the one right next to the tires. what'd i get? a d/s u-joint... how long did it take me to realize it? oh, just til right before i had to put the new clips on the installed joint. DOH! wrong clips, DOH wrong joint, right size. :hateputers:

3000 WHO!?!! JESUS! that's rediculous. your truck must look nice as hell man. guess that's why I'm a rattlecan fan. some cheap-o bodyshop (not sure who or when) did a repair on my truck, fiberglassed the header panel back together and painted it, idk if you've seen my truck in pictures... but the bed wasn't repainted. the hood is different color from the header panel, and the fenders are the only things that match the front. :redX: idk why they didn't just paint the whole damned thing :hmm:

what stage centerforce were you running? 1-2-3? just wondering if its the 1 thats this bad, or if you had like a 2 or 3

never knew we had THAT many droppers/racers on here! thats at least 3 right here in this one thread! I'm not doing it, but i can TOTALLY see why someone would want a v8 and stiffer suspension, these trucks are fun as hell to drive around with an i6 and loose suspension, i can't imagine yall's

naaahhh man, waterpumps only take ~3 hours start to finish first timer-ing it. they're gonna charge you to take the rad out, and dissasemble the front clip most likely. :cry:

i thought longer shackles contributed to springwrap? (springwrap=wheelhop correct?) I'm gonna have to go with the modified extra main leaf as opposed to a regular stiff AAL. -
flooring is overrated.... my passenger side holds more water than a bottle of EVIAN.. :D

Nope. There was an 81 at the yard with the correct D44 today. And there was an 88. No damn fords to pirate a HPD44 off though :cry: i stand corrected. :bowdown: -
well, 4.10s will get a decent 18 at 75... my brother is running 4.88s with an AW4 and 35s and when the speedo hits 85 the revvs are at 3k... (which 4.88s and 35s his speedo runs a little fast) you can't expect more than about 15 from a 4.0 pushing big tires. shoot. i get 17 STOCK. with a 5spd. I'm with mitch shut up and get one of these...

NP208 has a higher low-range than a 231 doesnt it? you should be able to find info on all this at novak-adapt.com EDIT: they only list the 207, so i don't know anything about the 208 unless they're similar.

yep feerocknok, that's exactly what happened. someone got over-energetic writing in the mud and scratched it all the way through the paint. it was GIGANTIC too.

i think the speed sensor is in the t-case still on the newer ones isnt it? i know the cable-style goes into the t-case.

this is the best jeep blue... dark metallic blue, his XJ was beautiful before someone scratched PENIS into the hood. its black now. :cry:

It's called 'aggressive driving'. It breaks things. I'm a teenage driver... i got that one covered :roll: don't get me wrong, my D44 is waiting in storage, this peice of junk is going out the door... I'm just sayin its not THAT bad. just pretty stinkin bad.
