so whats the thought on the cylinder walls holding htat kind of pressure at that stroke? seems like a bad idea.. but i don't know much about turbos. a 5.0L stroker should technically push out ~350hp at least. he's gonna have one heLLUva fast XJ if it all works out. "i don't want to run it at the strip so it will only be built to run like a 12.5" ...ONLY. -

why not relocate or put a sealed box around it with a cover you can remove to access fuses? wouldnt have to worry about that again. just a thought... -
well america is constantly changing and WE don't have a national langauge, english just happens to be most ocmmon. so if enough hispanic people come, english may get the #2 on the list, i don't care what you do, (you being anyone from anywhere) as long as i can still go to work, retain my freedoms, and not have to worry at night that i might be in danger, or might get robbed.

so they're flexy hoses not plastic lines right? i think mine might be leakin cause it decides to blow out of the right places at random times haha. i might not have hooked em up all the way when i installed the tow hooks though. my OBA is prolly gonna run like my bros, just use the space behind the relays infront of the bottle, beside the head. (if that makes sense) his setup is nice. who needs a/c anyways? -

  he's gonna blow that motor in 3 days. 5.0 stroker with a turbo?! i hope he uses a renix block at least. jeez. those cylinder walls are gonna be DYING, not to mention he's gonna have a hell of a time keepin it cool. -
mine was upside down when i bought it... :dunno: i flipped it back over.

if you're running a winch the second battery is a great thing. good point, winching does tend to drain on my bro's XJ

check and make sure the vacuum lines are all connected, the vacuum line on the cylinder head of mine pulled out once and it idled ~1500 but that would be ALL the time, not just in the am. -
yeah, there was a high and low output alternator, the high is 90 or 105 or something like that, and the low is like 60 IIRC what's the benefit of a second battery? just extra insurance?

School me on (bedless) Comanche's
Oizarod115 replied to binderbart's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
either get the 2.5 or the 4.0 don't get the 2.8, some came with D44 rear axles, others D35. all had the same front axle. trannys, auto you're good, manual avoid the BA10 from 1987-1989(midyear) only behind the 4.0, other years and engines had AX5/15s which are good. uh, t-cases arent anything to worry about. np231 wheelbase 113-shortbed something? 119?? for long bed stock height can run 30s, 31s SOMETIMES. lifts, rubicon express, skyjacker, all the usual suspects. XJ stuff too
