  1. I do too,and lots of pirate salutes for driving 60 mph :D man... if i did 60mph around here on the highway i'd get middle finger salutes as people passed me on the shoulders. running with traffic for me is about 75
  2. not sure about TBI but MPFI on the 4.0 has one. generally any car with an automatic transmission (besides newfangled stuff) has to have a kickdown cable
  3. i'm not tryin to pick a fight, but i know from experience the ones in mustangs its kinda just "what they do" they all kill 2nd gear or others... the one i tore down was shredded to pieces. just cause they DID it... doesn't make it right i don't know its possible chevy used a different model of it that is mo-better-er
  4. what is goin on with the exhaust in the first couple vids... sounds like a tractor?! busted header?
  5. what tire are you running? it looks aggresive yet ATish
  6. ahH!! a new comanche in the club!!! what color!?!?! 4wd? 4.0L? ... wait, a baby? ohhhhh... yeah oh ok.. well that's exciting as well.. CONGRATS!
  7. doubt it. maybe from 0-60 but i doubt that too maybe in a 4.0L HO cherokee. but thats alot lighter
  8. a t-5 from a 5.0 mustang would be a complete waste of time... they throw out 2nd every other day... really not a great transmission and doesnt stand up to the abuse of a stock 5-0 ax15 would most likely be fine with that kind of power, do you have an end number in mind you like to reach? you won't be slamming it into gear or dumpin the clutch from a standstill to reach this type of record so it's more about what gear ratios the transmission has honestly
  9. and you still have my spare hoist! punk! gah. i'm not done pilfering that one yet! :brows: seriously, its a straight body, real nice... if it hadnt been for no title and whatnot my brother wanted it
  10. looks good, can't wait to see it without the woodgrain. welcome aboard!
  11. diesel is cheaper than gas here right now... 3.99 most places and 4.19 where the dots are screwin you.
  12.
  13. i figured it would be the IAC, i unplugged mine a few days ago playin around and it idled up to 2500-3000 v vacuum leaks tend to not be intermittent and don't usually change when you turn it off/on
  14. probably wouldn't hurt to change the o2 sensor based on age and whatnot but the light is just automatic, no diagnostics to it so it has no relevance on whether your o2 sensor or anything else is malfunctioning.
  15. hahaha. nice
  16. yeah the damn media is hyping NO GAS NO GAS and inducing panic to the general public so everyone that usually buys 3 bucks at a time is now filling their $#!& up and preparing for Y2K lol.. its ridiculous
  17. we're up to 4.29... WHERE YOU CAN FIND IT! see my other post... its about 1 in over 10 stations have gas and when they do its for about 2 hours tops.
  18. i have petes liner :brows: i bought the one from that white truck ha... i also have it's gas tank, and my brother ran the engine for about a year  sorry petey! we raped your new manch
  19. i don't know how many of you live in GA (i heard VA had the same problem last week) but we have absolutely NO gas here. stations that have it are few and far between and gouging prices 30-50 cents. its so bad that i drove past 10 stations on the way home and not a single one had gas. its probly 1 in 15-20 stations that have anything but diesel. its crazy here. when a station gets gas its 4-5 cars deep at all pumps (and around here in the metro area stations rarely have less than 10 pumps. 20 being the norm) you can see people lining up as the tankers are pulling in before they even put the price back on the sign. this is really getting crazy. my stepdad sat in lines at two stations today waiting to fill his work truck only for the first one to run out and the second ran out at 1/2 tank in his truck. luckily i use one tank a week and i fill it every weekend so i'm good for now but come sat. i'll be riding around lookin for it.

    TIRES

worst part of DDing boggers isn't the ride, balance or any of that... its wearing out your beautiful boggers on pavement  i shed a single tear at the thought!
  21. well in the words of joe diffie... "you know a cargo light puts of a romantic glow. you could set my truck on fire and roll it down a hiiill, and i STILL wouldn't trade it for a coupe de'ville"
  22. i've got 3.07s and 235s they really aren't bad at all? not trying to be a jerk but i'm calling BS, i don't beleive 26 mpg, even if mine gets 19 around town...checked your speed-o since regear?
  23. no problems! i put some 31's on my truck for a day and could steer lock-lock without rubbing with only 2" up front and none in the back
  24. i had a master cyl go out on me a few years back, one day i was driving around like usual and the next day i had no clutch pressure at all no fluid loss or anything just lost the clutch
