  1. idk why i didnt think of any of those... must be :chillin:
  2. its a jeep thing you wouldnt understand. Just Empty Every Pocket (not sure thats a good one) i think jeep is just to cool for a motto... its a Jeep. (we should make up a motto something like, my jeep is parked offroad, and not becuase it broke down.. or something.)
  3. i have a friend whos dad gave her a 2dr 4.0 XJ on 35s (bushwackers and a 2" BB.. ?? it was ghetto-lifted.) anyways, she ran it OUT OF OIL... completely dead engine cut off. NO OIL. my buddy went up there to help her out, dumps 6 qts in... lets it drain down. fires it right up... she's still driving it... (6months later) talk about bulletproof
  4. nah, nothign wrong with the spacer istelf at all... just the fact that they're selling that as part of the INITIAL kit?!!? if I'm buying coils I'm gonna buy them the right height. ACOS are just that adjusters... its somethign you throw in later to level it out or bump it up over those 36s especially since the coils are only about 10$ difference for longer coils on other sites.
  5. yeah, but nobody else offers an 8" that i can think of. rustys has the MJ 4" full lift pack so you could do a 10" lift. but no 8" how are those price i mean uh skyjacker springs? ive heard theyre real hard?
  6. I'm guessing that he didnt speak english origionally. but its not that bad of a truck. 4.0 BA10 looks like. and i second the SWB rollbar. is way need want that i have bar-in-bed for my trck.
  7. those trucks are my favorite second only to comanches and j-trucks. best re-designed truck look of any of the companies. i love them. and one of those SMOKED my truck the other day... (well, not really but the fact that we were neck and neck and he was driving a 4door longbed F250 makes his keeping up with my shortbed 3000lb truck much more impressive.)
  8. thats the comanche theyve got at Rocky-road offroad. pretty nice, thats their 5"lift on 33s... love the look of that truck.
  9. that bad huh? we never have a problem with the modem... its the  darned wireless thats the real PITA... disconnects if you use to much at once.
  10. :rotf:
  11. i think the skyjackers are the kits that come with a sub-frame. IIRC better than the GA mud... we've only got red clay...
  12. one thing i don't like about the RRO lift i just noticed is that their kit starts out with 2" poly coil spacers... coil spacers are cool and all, but if I'm dropping the coin on a lift kit i want 5" lift coils not 3" coils and 2" in spacers.
  13. 1400$ passed emissions with no work but soon after it became a DD the clutch MC and fuel injectors went bad so that set me back 280 bucks i was so happy it passed first try, all i had to do was lower the idle 250rpm to pass.
  14. yeah, we've got 2 pounds or so of airsoft pellets my brother was going to use but didnt... I'm just trying to save money with this lift.
  15. has anyone ever heard of and/or used the tire balancing systems that balance as you drive using centrifugal force? basically just beads that roll around to the low spots http://www.innovativebalancing.com/ the third heading down is about offroad sized tires. anyone ever used this kinda thing?
  16. HAHAHA did I really say that? happy halloweeeeen! i read that through about 4 times then took it as a joke... then read this post.... hahaha
  17. i LOVE my turbines... and would definately bite on that. (I'm a high school student with part time job and 250 bucks left to pay on his truck :hmm: ) but weren't you having issues with the actual running of the truck? i seem to remember some mechanical problem? or am i :chillin: only thing about investing in the turbines is that they can't run bigger tires without spacers. (235/75r15s rub with mine)
  18. just how soon do you think their drop brackets will be out and about? I'm lookin at the RE kit right now, but if theyre competitively priced ill go with RRO, the only other difference besides control arms is that RE doesnt come with shocks (RRO does) and that RE has brakelines included (RRO doesnt) so idk... right now its lookin like RE everything but the coils for me... i want a slightly lower spring rate than RE offers. their coils are to rough for me. (for the record my bro is running a full RE lift on his XJ)
  19. i can't figure that picture out for the life of me... hows it mount? wheres the tire go?
  20. ive got a lock-right for sale, never had any problems with it (even on 33's in a D35, [wheeling in 2wd which=lotsof gas]. behind a 4.0) it was fine on road and off, locked up good, unlocked good so long as you didnt punch the gas in a turn. PM me if you've got an offer.
  21. you ever tried this idead for the exxon valdez blow-by? take the hose that feeds blowby into the airbox, put the end of it into a qt bottle of oil (don't seal it, air needs to be able to get in/out of the hose) and empty it when it fills? thats what my brother does on his XJ. blows about a qt every 3 days depending on how much driving
  22. mmmfun, i like many of you probably did, drew a comanche :D
  23. yeah, all engines 87-90 were renix.
  24. will the white background of the flexed truck be on the shirt? or just a cropped pic of the truck?
  25. i would consider my truck an AMC truck, cause the keys are printed AMC. and cause AMC designed everything in it... (though my engine is a 97TJ 4.0)
