  1. can't speak for pete, but... i bought my whip at a local hobby shop, they sell trains, nitro cars, planes all that stuff. they had ALL sorts of sizes and mounts and all the goodies for CBs. and i ran my coax between the dash and the windshield, down the drivers side trim, into the driver floor, (no carpet in my truck) through one of those plugs down to the frame rail then followed gas/brake lines all the way back to the bumper zip tying all the way. -nick

you could probably get a small coil spacer up front to make it a little easier cause thats where you're gonna have the shortage of room. i think hes at 4"
  3. now thats a guy who loves and takes care of his car... wonder how long its been since any oil or anything was changed, obviously a while since he had a dead cat there unnoticed... cat back... thats hilarious/terrible.
  4. the only reason not to would be if the xfer case is expensive. i THINK IIRC new input gears are ~200 id have to go check though.
  5. 4.0s were tight anyways, maybe its the motor mounts that varied? and they didnt swap them?
  6. yeah, my whip and stuff to mount it was under 20$ too and like i said if you put it where i did and brace it it doesnt whip around much at all.
  7. if she was that confused by it.... she'll figure it out eventually hahaha.

nah you typed the wrong name or something and it logged you as a guest... no harm done. (just lost one on the post count :brows: )
  10. its bolted straight through the plastic with a 3$ attachment, then we welded up a bracket that has a hole that the antenna runs through and is attached between the tailgate latch and the taillight housing to keep it from whipping to terribly much and hitting stuff on my jeep. (seems to keep it alot more stationary than the spring bases do) 102" whip antenna
  11. nice, snap lotsa pics while you're out there. how are those fans keepin ya cool? (4.0L right?) I'm lookin to ditch the clutch fan.. its just robbing mileage and takin up wrenchin space.

the transfer case isnt shifted by vacuum just to clarify, the axle can be connected with the truck out of 4x4... not abig deal. IS THAT RED MJ a STROKER!?!! (want want want) my K&N made a difference a little bit, seems to respond better and it sounds BA. my truck roars from under the hood with the 6x9 filter. (its always been on there so i couldnt tell you mileage)
  14. thats amazing... hahahaha. this is from the same page... the only ACTUAL comanche... http://www.automart.com/vehicledetail/adid-47340969/1986/jeep/comanche/potosi/mo how many idiots overprice their truck by 4000 dollars.

thats CLEAN! are you sure its actually in 4x4 or is the light just on? i ask because my light is always on because the axle disconnect controls the light and my axle doesnt disconnect properly... so you might not actually have a problem (the axle disconnect doesnt need to work right, all D30s after 91 did away with it) just a thought... NICE MJ... any pics of the other one?
  24. psh... like i have AC. haha. and no CC to worry about either. but my CAD stays locked cause its gummed up... only disconnects when I'm STANDING on the skinny pedal. its locked 95% of the time. its just bothersome. i like the heat to blow on my cold knuckles&feet. (doesn't that stupid little canister in the bumper control vacuum for it?)
