  1. my brother has a stage... 2? maybe? either 2 or 3... REAL beefy... winch bumper. it has the wrap around under the lights, winch tray&stuff, and 3/4" d-ring tabs. they had a slight messup in that one sides light wrap-around sticks out about an 1 1/2" further than the other side... but they offered to fix it free of charge including shipping and my brother opted for halfprice one-ton steering instead. problem SOLVED!
  2. an aftermarket trac bar would likely have a jam nut and such, while the stock one has a sleeve on it tightened down by 2 nuts. IIRC yeah, comanche's and jeeps in general are just badass... that being said i have no skid plates... :cry: haha
  3. guitar player here... one ibanez sa160 with an active EMG humbucker i put in last year, and one fender acoustic. but... what extra headroom? i can fit my acoustic behind my seats without anyone the wiser... (buckets) just wish i had 2dr flip seats... i have to move the whole seat to get it in.
  4. the only thing you mentioned odd is an adjustable track bar. there were stock gas tank skids and steering stabalizers. the track bar should be adjustable for alignments but not much else. what color is it?

  6. if it just clicks you may need to crawl underneath and give the starter a good solid THWACK with a hammer. then try. (if the starter is the problem it should kill the batter after a while of trying.. cause it still pulls alot) at least mine does.
  7. those are the lights that make me flip my mirror up. that being said i would like brighter headlights too. or maybe just some nice HELLAs or KCs GOOD AT WELDING MUCH? you can't even tell that rollbar was ever modified! holy cRap. i LOVE it. :cheers:
  8. hes not planning on using all 10 points... the 10 was for an XJ, and i know hes running at least 2 out the back windows into the bed. don't know if that answers your question at all.
  9. :eek: the pumpkin rotated on the tubes? or the whole axle rotated? wth. thats NUTS... usually i just make alot of noise and take off really fast :brows: more worried about the BA10 than the axle at this point... but I'm not THAT worried because if i blow the tranny stock my parents will help me out... howeveerrr if i lift it and the tranny goes... theyll say its my fault. so I'm hopin it goes before i lift it.
  10. eeeexactly why i didnt want it... i can screw off as much as i want open diffs... as long as it aint raining. takes alllot to break the whole @$$ end loose.

  17. a bad O2 sensor doesnt always trip the check engine light does it? Just noticed that you have an '89. There is no Check Engine light. The only light is the Maintenance Required light, and that's run by a timer to remind you to change the O2 sensor every 80,000 miles. The light usually gets disconnected the first time it turns on, because the factory says it can't be reset and most owners don't feel like buying a new timer. ...theres no check engine light in 89s? how odd.

  19. from the sounds of it id try to talk him down based on the wobble, cuase that can be a B@)(@#TCH to track down.. and he doesnt need to know its getting a front end rebuild anyways. plus paint/interior. 3500 is about overpriced as hell. WOW :eek:

  22. ... maybe not MJ little beast... open diff rear with two blown ujoints in the front i think ill abstain at this point in time :brows: but it should only be a couple weeks til ive got time ot fix the joints, and then I'm liftin it later... ive got a 35 lockright i could throw in it but I'm afraid itd be hell with a stickshift and a lockright.

  25. is there anyway to tell the month/day of production of my truck besides the tag on the door? ive tried vin decoders and stuff they just say 89. my door tag is only legible in spots, and thats not one of those spots... alot of it has actually turned yellow and barely any of it can be read easily. thanks -nick
