yep, they prolly just had their eggs mixed up... AX15 is definately the most efficient method of replacement.

welll.. some days, like today when its REALLY cold... or maybe its just random? i don't know. my truck won't start. and when it does this i bang on the battery terminals and wiggle them around a bunch, and eventually get the @#$%$ to start. how should i go about replacing the battery cables? and i know a variety of shops sell beefy cable specifically for that. should i use that kind of stuff? or auto part store cheapy wire?

besides the weakenss and all this other stuff.... whoever told you it was geared lower was wrong... ax15 1st gear 3.83 ba10 1st gear 3.39

yeah, i was thinkin about going with yellawood but then i decided dropbrackets... HD and Lowes were WAY overpriced. i can't beleive it. oh well... when it comes to keeping my axle under my truck I'm trying to go CHEAP and not worry about it.

i agree vacuum disconnect is kindof a blessing... i can throw a cheapo locker in the front and not have to worry about being able to turn... where-as my brother HAD to buy a selectable front locker in order to be able to turn. but i gummed up the disconnect in the mud so it doenst work like it used to, but luckily its stuck in 4x mode not 2x mode... plannin on a cable system.

my brother's idler never stops squealing. he even replaced it.

you might check the sending unit... they are in a prime position (on the 4.0) to get whacked and stuff while changing oil filters. and they tend to fail anyways. i know i knocked my moms completely loose last time i changed her oil.

yeah, ive been pretty happy with gas recently... 2.00, but last 2 weeks it went back to 2.10ish. oh well... still filled her up for 31.08 SWB tank but then my truck :popcorn:'ed all the gas up.
