  2. i shall call! EDIT: very nice hold music. :brows:
  3. i think randy's is one of the sites a search pulled up, ill call them tomarrow... probly to late tonight.
  4. Just curious where the problem is. Is it the path in which the axle cycles, or does it want to bind, or? i don't know of any problems but he might know of some. the tnt kit just has a LOT more clearance due to the bend in the LCA.
  5. i can't seem to find any D30 spools, but I'm convinced they are out there. i could've sworn my brother told me about a moser D30 spool.. does anyone know where to find one? EDIT: i can't even seem to find a D44 spool on moser's website... and i KNOW theyve got one of those... (don't they?)
  6. its because a rangers body sits ON the frame... our body is part of the frame... thats a good 4" right there. our seats bolt into our "framerails" if you will. so if we roll up next to an H2 in my bros 6" XJ on 35s... its the same size. but if you were to measure clearance... the jeeps are the hands down winners EDIT: plus the fact that we have NO headroom. haha.
  7. us youngins have it easy huh? i just gotta come up with 1160$ and ive got me a 5.5" RE kit :brows: but seriously... thanks to all those who did bring out the MJ in the offroading scene.
  8. its Xota... search for it on naxja... i was reading the thread... i think it only took about 6 or so months. and the thread is REALLY long so get your glasses out. but search for Xota cause thats what he "dubbed" it. welll... i got interested again and foudn it for you... http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=69712&page=19&highlight=Xota [/url]
  9. http://www.tntcustoms.com i will be going with the RE kit... my brother has had his RE XJ4.5" for 1 1/2 years now and it rides GREAT,m wheels GREAT, and is just all around GREAT. he hasnt had a single suspension or geometry related problem since his lift. (before that was a different story as a hydroplaning accident ruined his ca's and all that.)
  10. Hi guys, I had a guy asking about this kit (and chewed me on the $$$) and the reason our kit is more $$$ is due to the fact we include the new parking brake cables and conversion yoke with our kit. If you are looking for just the bracket kit we also have those available and we will get our web guy to post it. ahh, that picture is deceiving. i guess i just assumed that was all that came in it was what was in the picture... but do parking brake lines and a C flange really up the value 250bucks?
  11. like a 4.3L engine on propane? or should i just be quiet? (know nothing about 'pane)
  12. yeah, i might pick up some 5-90 cables after payday... my battery hasnt been an issue yet. its an everstart or something... PO put it in there, but its always got plenty of juice to do w/e.. and i don't have any high-load winches or anything like that as of now. optima is down the road. my brother loves his. (but hes got a winch and other goodies) EDIT: THANKS ALL for your help!
  13. ARE YOU KIDDING!?!! 335 dollars for a set of spring perches...(i know d44 ones are 9$-ish from mopar ) spring plates, 4-ubolts, and a set of weld-on shock mounts!?!?! thats absolute madness
  14. yeah thats 5-90s site isnt it? he helped me get my shifter back before. (left da bia in 4th and pulled it out, not nuetral DOH!)
  15. everything that happens IN FRONT of the seat bolts seems to be the same... all the bed, rear frame, rear springs, rear bumper, rear lights are different engine, CAs (besides a little extra bracing for the MJs) axle, springs, front frame, dash, controls... fenders hood, doors (4dr XJ), all that is the same.
  16. '76 CJ7 w/ 5.3 vortec, turbo 350, 203/205 doubler, 2.5s, 16" fox coilovers, 4 linked, 44s. It ought to be fun for awhile, til I get my YJ back together atleast. . I did put a clause in there that if they ever wanted to sell it, they had to give me first shot at it. NICE. at least it was a good trade... sounds like he had just bout as much work in that CJ as you put into the YJ... and nice clause.
  17. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2740&highlight=quarter+panels thats the thread if it helps you any... ps... you posted this thread twice.
  18. yeah i read the article.. after i spent THREE HOURS STARING AT THE TITLE.... commmmmmmanche? haha. whats the significance of those numbers? isnt that how much a renix 4.0 made?
  19. thats where its confusing because it DIFFERENTIATES... without a differential... :brows: i love engineers :hateputers: Easy on us now!! :D hehe, you're just tricky! always coming up with better ways of doing things. but there's no reason to not have a 242 just because you're gonna go wheeling... it has 2wd..fulltime, part-time hi and part-time low. the only reason its better is if you drive alot of semi-slippery road conditions like snow or rain... it is AWESOME in the ice/rain
  20. k thanks for the advice... looks like we'll be takin a trip to the local napa friday. (payday  )
  21. thats where its confusing because it DIFFERENTIATES... without a differential... :brows: i love engineers :hateputers:

  23. :dunno: i didnt see a jeep in the 2-3-4th pictures... only the first and last one? :dunno: :brows: EDIT: welcome... nice kit. and that MJ's got lotsa work in it... looks gREAT. bet it runs great too.
