How much height would one lose by using waggy springs instead of MJ springs on a SOA?

Been there... done that. My son is now 8 and I am re-married. But, there were a few years in there where it was just him and I. It's not bad at all. It's actually wonderful. Sure... it cuts into your social life big time... but you won't even care. The joy of spending all that time with your child is well worth whatever sacrifices you have to make. Don't get me wrong... it can be lonely, frustrating and at times depressing doing it alone but when your kid is laying on your shoulder you'll smile. Kudos to you man for stepping up and taking on the responsibility. Not all guys are true dads.

I've never swapped a CPS. Is it as hard as everyone makes it out to be? How much are they and what brand/place should I get one? I've got a friend down the road who has a ton of Renix stuff. Maybe I can get a coil to try as well. Thanks everybody. :cheers:

I think it's probably a sensor too but I don't want to just start replacing stuff until I nail down the culprit. Hopefully someone else has had this same thing occur and figured out exactly what it was.

My MJ starts as soon as you hit the key when it is cold. But, when it's warm or been driven for a while it is tough to re-start. I usually have to crank it for about 3 seconds... turn the key back... crank again for 3 seconds and then it slowly catches and runs. Sometimes it revs above 2000 rpms or so when it finally starts and then comes back down to idle. Other than this it runs fine. Anyone ever have this issue or know of anyone who has? And if so... what is the fix for it?

I love Tennessee. I grew up going to Norris Lake every weekend in the summers. Now, as an adult I head that way from time to time for some wheeling and back to the lake whenever possible. Beautiful State for sure.

I work from home so I don't get the "typical" boredom that most get at work. But, it get's boring being home ALL the time.

This was my old TJ...

I got rid of my TJ and built a MJ. The wife just bought a 98 TJ about a month ago though. It's just a baby Jeep with a 2" budget boost and 31's but I still get the open top, no door, street fun of a Wrangler but get to trail ride a real Jeep. :D
