Can Spell Comanche (2/11)

  1. Yeah, all the XJ's I've found have been trashed or the parts are already gone. It's not a gauge, it's just the plastic pieces. No function what so ever, lol. Just for looks.
  2. the part I'm having the biggest trouble finding is the trim piece on the drivers side of the dash that runs all the way across the bottom and runs into the ash tray. My interior is gray, I dunno if there are multiple colors of gray?? Then the plastic piece around the auto shifter and the paper like thing that goes under it. I dunno if any of that makes sense but that the best way i know to explain it. Thanks guys. -Will

Do any of you guys know where I could find any interior pats for the manche?? Junk yards round here have had slim pickin's and when they have stuff I need it's in worse shape than mine is. Just didn't know if any of you guys knew of any websites that had a good selection. Thanks guys.
  4. Hey guys, so it's been awhile since I've been on here, I kinda come and go as my trucks running or the money is available to mess with it, but I have a quick question. When I lifted my truck and helped my dad with his lift on his YJ I had some problems getting the new springs back in using the coil spring compressors. I just rented a set from Autozone, maybe it's the crappy set I had but is there some trick to getting the springs in out out easily? A third of the time I worked on installing the lift I spent on trying to get the new springs back on. This may be a stupid question and there may be no easier way but I figured I'd hit you guys up and see if anyone has any tricks or anything. Thanks. -Will
  5. done. I'm http://mtsu.facebook.com/profile.php?id=38409060
  6. I started thinking (which is pretty dangerous usually) and figured that a lot or at least some of you guys have myspace and facebook's so we should maybe consider starting groups there, if there aren't already some, to let more people know about this group. Just a thought. Does anyone have a myspace or facebook? -Will
  7. Does anyone know where I can get some weatherstripping for around the doors or the windows. I locked my keys out a while back and the cop cracked the crap out of mine trying to get into it to unlock my doors. Thanks guys. -Will
  8. They didn't even make CJ's in 1987, that was the first year of the Wrangler. Just think, with the amount of money he put into that crap, he could have built a pretty sweet and much more capable jeep... but thats just my opinion. -Will
  9. Doubt it. Jeep comes out with all these cool concepts, the public says which ones they like, then they produce the other ones... Look at the Gladiator, everyone liked um and they chose to produce the compass instead...
  10. I thought it'd be cool to see pictures of everyone with their trucks... Maybe a dumb idea but whatever, haha. Here's me and mine before I put my new tires on this mornings. ...couldn't find a good one but here's a start.
  11. Here's a few of me... I'm on the far right. The other two guys are my best friends, we grew up together. Me and Josie Me and my other baby... Me Muddin'... Sorry guys, I got a little carried away... :shake:
  12. Do YJ and TJ flares work?
  13. So, I've heard a few differing things about fender flares. Do the cherokee rear fender flares work on the comanche? I've heard a lot of no's but a couple people told me they work so have you guys used um or what? Thanks. -Will
  14. It's definitely leaking from the rear main seal... dang it. Thats gonna be a pain in the but to fix huh?
  15. but if I go with more backspacing won't I rub on the fenders in the front? This is what has me all confused...
