alright.... so my heater/vents/all that stuff have developed a mind of their own. when i turn on the air (heat, a/c, max, bilev, vent, defrost, any of it) it ALWAYS blows out of the windshield defrost locations... which only the defroster should blow out of right? welll give it 5-10 minutes and it blows out of wherever its supposed to... AT IDLE when you give it gas it blows out the defroster again... WTF i figure its vacuum related since it changes when i hit the gas. also there is normal voltage from the battery, no weird stuff there. help! -nick

its a toss up betwixt the flowmaster 40 series, (which I'm thinking the super? I'm not sure, maybe just the origional 40. but ive heard the super is quieter inside and i have no carpet.) and glasspacks so does anyone have a video or soundclip of their 4.0 with either glasspacks or a 40 series. found a couple flowmaster videos on google and stuff but none with glasspacks. help me out please. -nick (lots of muffler stuff lately huh?)

we just got done replacing a small "cancerous" region in my brothers cherokee the spot above the cat under the backleft passenger bucket bolt. (if that made sense... :nuts: ) got some 22gauge steel from home depot and welded it in.

horrid mileage? i can't remember if it was the 4.0 or the 2.5 but one of them likes a little backpressure in the system. I'm sure someone else knows for sure.

check out richmond gear they sell limited slip and lock-rights that replace the spider gears and nothing else.

thats a good idea... is that the one out off moreland in atlanta? thats wehre i pulled my 44 from.

mine just went right in the stock hole. no special anything, but the bezel added around the edge wouldnt fit unless i trimmed the stock trim piece, so I'm not using the bezel... but the stock trim fits close enough you can't even tell.

regular old gearoil, i think I'm runnin a 80w

two intersections... in the atlanta area (not downtown much but all the areas around it.) just about ever 4th light or so is a camera light. so far ive been good. my grandma got one of those tickets in savannah cause she was following a semi and couldnt see the light :D

depends, were you set on a 3" lift? theres not much thats truly GREAT in that size range... rustys has 4" lift leafs that stay SUA, so no mods are really needed back there but longer shocks and brakelines and such. thats the closest lift pack to 3" that i know of. if you wouldnt mind being at 6" you could go with the Rubicon Express kit (they make AWESOME lifts, my brother runs one on his XJ) other companies make them like rocky road offroad, but their kit doesnt address the control arms which will need changing at about 5-6" of lift. http://www.rubiconexpress.com http://www.rocky-road.com http://www.rustysoffroad.com on the rockyroad site you'll have to go to cherokee lift kits, they throw the MJ lift in with those.

thanks for the advice yall, thats pretty much what my brother said but i figured id ask for a second opinion. sucks when you brag about your jeep all the time and go to hop in it and it won't start :mad: but then i felt like a badass when i "fixed" it in bout 5 seconds. thanks again.
