stock height, should i still try that?

I'm definately thinking LCA for my true DW, maybe its the same roots as the shimmy. ive got all new steering from an XJ cause the PO was a jeep guy (hes over on NAXJA has a fairly serious 2x4>4x4 project sold this one to me cause "it was to clean for me to hack up and tube" :brows:) and he tried to solve DW the first time with new steering.

is it just the engine dying or does all power cut out? wasn't real specific. cause if all the powers going then itd have to be a more serious grounding out, right?

oh yeah, if you don't wash the redclay off within 24 hrs... its not gonna budge. I'm thinkin about taking a trip to my greatgrandmas this winterbreak to go snow wheelin (WV)

i hate chrysler. and the only decent looking dodge truck is the durango, and guess what... it used to be a knock off manche. i won't hate on the newest style F250 though. they look sharp. wayyy better than the late 90's ones. and i wouldnt mind a powerstroke deisel either, but i can't hate on the Cummins turbo-deisel. thats a Baddd engine CDX has.

the kids at my school get senior shirts printed all the time in like 20s or 30s and theyre usually like 10$ a pop. i can find out how theyre doing it if you'd like. (i know its not through the school)

so what fixes a shimmy? cause i've got a "suspended animation wobble" and a "pee your pants and watch your life flash in front of your eyes wobble" does that mean i need to fix TWO problems (where's the shoots self in head icon?? :D ) but my DW doesnt make the truck change lanes or anything crazy it just shakes you like a damn paint mixer and everyone around slams on brakes and i pull off and coast to like 30 then it stops and i go again

haha, i was wondering what your reactions would be... that thing is so crazy. it would be worth 10,5 maybe if it had all the new stuff he was talking about, with a new pearl blue with wood grain side panelling, and none of that BS on the roof. oh, and a mint interior... and no rust.

wow i love the new look... especially the one to floor one to the wheel well thing. NICE job. the patch in the middle is nearly invisible.

see, i think you can have BOTH. you can have wobbles that don't escalate to DW then at the same time you can get DW randomly. this is what my heep does. I only get DW when I'm doing something stupid though (aka going 65-70mph, or accelerating rapidly past 55 over bumps) but i get wobbles ALL the time that i can stop from escalating by slowing down or just coasting the right way.

don't know about the EZ lokcker detroits but my brother has a full-case detroit in the rear and its nice. it wears tires a tad faster than open (or any selectable locker) before that he ran a loc-rite ez-locker and it was nice too, (never broke under some heavy wheeling in Dana35 with 33" tires.)

one thing is that the rear shaft isnt going to be a slipshaft and the front needs a slipshaft

Speakers in the dash? :hmm: most people didnt get them... special option... personally i think the 4 stock 89 ones i have are loud enough! and for robbie. yeah if you turn the headlight switch left the dome lights come on, if you turn it right it dimms out the dash lights including stock stereo, speedo, tach, 4wheel shifter, all of that good stuff.

yeah on second thought an XJ44 or something would be alot easier if you can find one... they came under 87s/88s i think. and under MJs but goodluck findin one

wow i didnt know there were so many southerners on here... we should have a southerndivision MJ trip to tellico or morris mtn. alabama has alot of good places (gray rock, morris mtn, etc.)
