  1. what is it exactly? I'm lost
  2. whats the problem with the AMC20... the only bad ones are the ones with the 2-piece shafts... the FSJ AMC20 is beefy... only problem with those is theyre rusty alot of the time, and will have a 6 lug pattern... if its a FSJ amc20 i say grab it
  3. XJ springs arent long enough is the problem. they sit almost flat on XJs to begin with anyways.
  4. thanks yall, I'm definately buying those tires cause theyre such a good deal, so now i gotta figure out what lift to run. ahh, the fun part.
  5. I don't think the 2.8L V6 ever came with a serpentine belt setup in the Cherokee or Comanche. They all had V belts. That might not even be a 2.8L V6. It's hard to tell. thats what i was thinking... i know the 2.8 was a v-belt but his is most definately a serpentine... so unless he's got some conversion on it doesnt seem to be a factory 2.8
  6. for 8" i would definately go SOA, if spring wrap is THAT much of a problem have a local shop fab up a torsion bar. you could bastard pack it to gain the extra 2- 21/2 inches.
  7. my brother had an experience like that... but luckily no jack stands or anything, just dropped the front end from about 2 ft off the ground  luckily the RE springs caught it instead of his face.
  8. hopefully itll run like yours... i like that high-clearance stance. but i thought it might look a little extreme
  9. lookin at the actual 2.8 serpentine and the one in those pics... definately different pulley system?
  10. yeah, i googled for a while... i don't think its Xterrains cause ive never seen a 32 xterrain listed in the mags... i think theyre mudterrains. either way its the same tire company
  11. there are six locations for speakers... the dash peice right above the fuse panel and in the same location on the passenger side.. (premium audio package only i think) then the normal ones in the doors where the grills are, then there should be one on either side right behind the seats beneath the seatbelts.

    FNG

i love GWs my brother owned this one for a while but it was a rust bucket and noone.. and i mean NOONE could get the lug nuts off the rear tires and the brakes were effed back there (snapped off bleeders) but it had an AMC 360 that ran AMAZING after 2 months of carbureter adjustment/work by my brother (hadnt been ran in quite a while)
  13. sweet, bet that makes hubs and axles alot easier.
  14. I'm looking for a pic of a comanche with a SOA lift, probably 5.5-6", with 32x11.50s or any other 32" tire. I'm thinkin my trucks gonna look pretty friggin rediculous like this but the tires are cheap... ( procomps my friend ran for 1 1/2 months before going bigger for onyl 350 for all 4) if anyone has a pic of a truck like this itd be appreciated. gracias, -nick
  15. lock-rite... the no slip doesnt ever fully lock. and my brother ran a 33" tire with loc-rite on a D35 with no problems (made alot of noise for the week or two that he ran a 35" but now its a 44 w/ detroit so..) i would say itll hold up, cause itll be much beefier for an AMC20 than for a D35.

    Introduction

sick MJ. love those tires, always have liked the tall skinny look on the XJ/MJs love the bumper too. all in all looks clean, body appears straight as crap too.
  17. if you've got any questions on the OBA my brother just ran the same setup about a month ago its pretty sweet and the stock a/c compressor (thats what he's using) he can air up a 35 from 12-35psi in 1min 27secs.
  18. wait a second... the girl from the breeonline website actually writes articles for Jp magazine... wth? i don't give a rats @$$ about anyone with breast implants' opinion on parts going on my jeep.
  19. i was just about to post up that Brett had done a coilspring rear setup using a 3link and try to find a link to his pirate writeup but here he is! its a great idea, cause the rear would just flex along wherever you pointed the front.
  20. how come chrysler engineers can't redesign a vehicle like that and maintain its origional roots while revamping the style and "re-interpreting" the look. that cherokee is seriously the most beautiful thing ever. i LOVE the front end especially. and the fact that its a 2006 straight axle jeep 4x4 with all wheel disc brakes and decent ground clearance... amazing. you know the best part? ITS NOT BASED OFF A CHRYSLER FRAME.
  21. i would put ZJ coils on an MJ but i don't think i would do vise versa, lower spring rate than stock would make it a little too loose.
  22. mine doesnt shake paint... but it does throw mud/debris in all directions at times. and gives me brains a good jumbling.
  23. That's just funny. :rotf: :rotfl2: 8) did they buy that? :agree:
  24. then you could race it on PINKS! haha. :chillin:
