Make sure you get the Dana 44 rear axle from the big ton too before you let it go, or swap it with your other one.... that axle is the gold standard for rear ends for our trucks!

Or you can get two rust free MJ's dropped in you lap for little of nothin! If youre willing to make a trip south to buy one, you won't be disappointed! Just jump down through WV and Virginia, and your almost to NC, do a national craigslist search and see what comes up! Try crazedlist, a craigslist national search, and see whats out there beyond your backyard.... I wish you happy hunting!

CL Joke of the day

I think youre thinking of the AMC eagle cars, very different from the later Eagles. The AMC eagles Might have a few parts swap over, but not enough to warrant getting one for that purpose www.amceaglenest.com This site seems to have any info you could ever want for an AMC eagle. Ive always wanted one, but never had the opportunity. Their site seems to be a lot like our with a high maturity level. It says they only have 1300 members, but they delete members who don't post for 12 mos, so theyre probably still bigger than we are.

Pa state inspection question
dasbulliwagen replied to MJ.rusty's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I'm a North Carolina inspector, and I don't think there is anything here that says it wouldnt be legal, as long as it has some sort of front bumper, it don't matter what it looks like, If I were you, I would try to get it inspected with it on just to see what happens. Not sure about the laws there, but here if an inspection is failed, you don't pay for the whole inspection, and have a period of time to get it repaired and reinspected and pay the remainder.... no big deal. -

T-valve for airbag helper kit
dasbulliwagen replied to socal1200r's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I like the idea of having a ball valve put in line with one of the bags. Turn the valve on, fill both bags to your desired pressure, then shut the valve off to prevent crossflow. One schrader to get equal pressure to both, and preventing crossflow, just see if your supply place has an inline pushlock valve, and you can just cut it in place! Easy! -
After looking at that thread, I can just imagine what his neighbors must have thought! :fool: :hmm:     :fs1:

Weve been getting a bit of snow here in North Carolina recently too, and I have been purposely NOT driving my MJ for fear of getting any road salt on my rust free baby! I know it would be fun though.... thats what I miss about living in Michigan!

I bought my 2.5 with 336,000 miles on it, and have been making it run better ever since, I would trust it to run a distance like that no problem, If you don't seem to have any problems now, you shouldnt on your trip either, just check everything over real good before you go. I'm in the process of making a rear hitch for mine as I don't want to spend any money on one, but it would be much simpler to just get one you know will fit and be done. Just be smart with everything and it will be fine!

What is SVO, and why is it important. Not being an @$$, just want to know what youre talking about and why.

How do you tell the difference? I'm not sure how many people want to go tearing into diffs at the JY, and I'm sure the JY wouldnt like it either!
-
OK, I'm going to be the first to say it......WTF!!!!

With a light trailer, or in the bed, it will go just fine for the 350 miles you want to go. 3:73 is higher (?) gearing than most 2.5's with AX4.... mine came with 3:55. so you are slightly better off with gearing already, though 4:10 would be even better, but just towing an ATV and camping gear, youll be fine!

What is this data being compiled for? Just for curiositys sake? I think its cool it being done, but not really sure why yet! And Correy..... you need to make a thread with all your paintings, including the one in your avatar. I noticed a few others on your walls in the TV show last night too. I would love to see them in more detail! -
In the Jennifer Aniston movie " The Good Girl " theres one sitting in the store parking lot behind her in a scene about 2/3- 3/4 way through the movie. Thats all, it just sits there, but I noticed it!
