  1. Constant power wire for memory is backwards. I did that before. Good if you turn it off personally everytime, but easier when it shuts off with the key.
  2. Got a package today from @Torq_Shep. Good man helping me out from his local yards. A manual trans wiring harness to replace my auto harness and clean up some molested wiring. plan to swap this one in with a new rebuilt 4.0. All in good time eh! The jeep has yet to move since I got got back. Forgot how tiring it was to drive it over the road for hours on end. Still love it. however the bike has been a welcome ride for these last few muggy days.
  3. Jeeps are gold.
  4. 2 fans to what original wires? Are you not replacing the mechanical fan with no wires? Your accessory fan has wires. You will need a fan controller to turn fans on at certain temperature. You should do more research as you going for a bigger alt seemingly first seems as if you don't know how to go about this.
  5. I have a aluminum radiator in mine. Only got hot in the tunnel on way back. I need new head or rebuild engine for that matter. My issues have mostly been due to the motor mounts shifting and putting clutch fan into radiator. No longer an issue ๐Ÿ˜Œ
  6. Should of went that route 2 radiators ago.
  7. How clean is the tb? Mine was getting pretty dirty, which led me to replace the tb.
  8. I'm not sure ๐Ÿ˜• ive had similar issues with the tps and iac and after replacing 4th time, i replaced the regulator which helped with startups and since replace the fuel pump and also went to a 62mm tb. All is good now. ๐Ÿ˜† did any of that help?
  9. Right on. Take some fab pics and keep us updated. Then perhaps you could try a burnout again.
  10. Whats the pressure rating for the factory ls setup? After messing with my unit there i couldnt see why you couldnt fab a bigger pump to it.. be just a matter of having the right pressure figured then go from there. Also i could still see a fuel cell being mounted in factory location and perhaps might be the better option for your setup.
  11. Do you require a higher rate pump? ๐Ÿค”
  12. Noise.. multi hour roadtrips... project truck... yeah its a jeep.
  13. Yeah its called come over to the dark side and get a real phone.
  14. I love it. great look right there.
  15. Spring compressing helps. Driveshafts install last. Ratchet from crossmember or rear axle even.
  16. Still seems a bit to close. Umm. If it works it works. Run it.
  17. I hated it on mine. Made things to complicated.
  18. Fan control relays be helpful. I run two off them and my third fan is just wired straight to battery with Toggle switch inline to turn on or off as needed. I like to be able to kill the fans as I do tend to play in water.
  19. Try taking the springs ba c k out then install your control arms and then put springs back in.
  20. "3/8"-16 into the head, 3/8"-24 under the nut. There are good engineering reasons for doing so, but there's not enough strain to apply in this case. Replace with 3/8"-16 full length, and call it good. That's what I do when I have to replace a stud - usually cut a 2" or so length of 3/8"-16 brass rod and LocTite (#242) the thing in place Replace the nut with a 3/8"-16 UNC piece, and reuse the dished washer (it's important.)"
  21. Looks like you had to dig it out.
