Fenders just order and replace. Hit and miss on fitment. Hinge setup i have seen is a worthy upgrade opportunity. Welcome back to the nuts and bolts game. -
mini beast Project: Stock To Beast!!!

So have good extra tps. finally got to fixen the trac bar. So my understanding is that its best to have equal length trac bar to draglink so I'm currently at 34.5" which is with replaceing the hiem on my old trac bar as it was 34". For some reason the last time i tried to fix it I ended up with a 32.5" length. so with that i have been battling steering issue's for a bit now and wandering all over, and some would say taking the smooth out of the road. so after fixing the trac bar and getting yelled at by the neighbors for my midnight repair as I have a planned trip this weekend, i had to wait till morning to fix what I noticed to be my stalling and starting issue. Which was my exhaust was leaking at the gasket on the down pipe to header connection. So today cut the bolts, installed new and what a difference. Good starting and little more pep in my step. now after a quick test drive it seems to go stright as it should, but now I can only get half turn to the right and full 2 turns to the left....so me thinks its time to adjust the drag link but dosent that take me back to the beginning of the issue? Umm adjust it and see. Due for new heim steering setup soon for sure. I'm growing tired of the tierod end nuts not breaking free and the shaft just spinning. pic is of where my steering wheel is on point, tires not so much. -
Very cool. never seen a purple one and it looks great. Thanks for sharing.

Are you able to see those land at all? Those things are huge.

In the connection points on the frame and axles. Leaf springs have rubber busings where bolts on. Control arms also contain bushings. Shocks has some bushings as well, however could be the shaft itself squeaking as it goes up and down being dried out. You also have squeaker warning when its about time to change brake pads. trac bar at the axle side can also be worn. Ball joints have even squeaked warnings before failure. Best to go ahead and grease everything you can as its been said for sure. maybe jump up and down on it and shake it all about and perhaps help pinpoint it more accurately. Could just be the squirrels under the hood. Feed them.

Good deal. Sometimes its just a matter of looking at things closer and understanding how things are suppose to work. Good job figuring it out. -

MiNi Beast replied to misfitmechanic's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Fixin to swap a 99 intake on myself, looking for details before I go ahead and tear things apart. Be also replacing power steering system as well for a tapped hydo assit setup. Never go wrong with any extra ponies me thinks.
