  1. :rotf:
  2. personally, I'd just keep topping it off and save that money towards a later upgrade.
  3. I'd bet a sizable amount of money there's a video or 2 on youtube. :D I've found other random auto repairs on there.
  4. it pains me to see someone spend so much on a lousy d-35. :( I've purchased whole 8.8s and 8.25s for that much.
  5. I got a little overzealous and routed both axles and my t-case to a common breather filter in the engine bay. :D
  6. if I remember right, it's under the dash by the drivers right leg. it's a small clearish plastic box
  7. Jeep's fancy name for a base model.
  8. no bushing, it's a tie rod end. if you're lucky it's just loose, but more likely is that it's worn out and the track bar needs to be replaced. keep en eye out for ovaling of the hole in the bracket that the tie rod end goes into.
  9. are you talking about fabbing up long arms? or just longer short arms? also, at least up here in michigan, hand made suspension components aren't street legal. not sure if you intend to drive on the street, but if an arm were to fail and cause an accident, you would be liable for all injuries.
  10. I miss having a cat around the house.
  11. early-than-92 XJs with the awd t-case came with a non-CAD axle.
  12. why are you removing the charcoal canister? all it does it absorb excess fumes from your gas tank and then allow the engine to burn them off?
  13. looks like rob beat me to it. :D our forum software isn't the best and so sometimes people fall through the cracks. anyone that ever has issues with signing up needs only to let one of us know and we'll take care of it manually.
  14. including the trackbar?
  15. one of each. :D though my dd MJ isn't yet up to snuff.
  16. Jim, when you cleaned up the connector, did you squirt in a bit of dielectric grease?
  17. just send me a PM with your name/address.
  18. you need to have someone saw the wheel back and forth while you crawl under and watch/feel for sloppiness. could be anything in the steering or trackbar.
  19. um, the pinion will raise slightly upon acceleration, not dip.
  20. absolutely. you've got one of the rare occasions where a drop pitman is necessary. a stock pitman from a TJ will give you 1" of drop.
