I've heard that: 97+ cherokee door stripping is thicker and way more effective than even new pre-97, pre 96- XJ/MJ inside window wipes will be in much better shape than their outside mates and the inside pass unit will work on the outside drivers side, and the inside drivers unit will work on the outside pass side.

unfortunately I don't know for sure what mine came from. I grabbed a bunch from the parts store and went with the one that worked best. I think it's a lift for a minivan rear gate. there are other writeups on CC that have better detail on the project.

flashlight app came with the phone. and I use it pretty much everyday too. :D just downloaded a g-force meter so I can see how well my minivan handles. :yes:

I have now entered the modern age! kicking and screaming mind you, but the old brick-of-a-phone stopped lighting up the screen. so I got myself a Rugby Pro. :D dustproof, water proof to 3 feet, shock resistant, etc. as accident-prone as I am, I don't think I could get away with anything less. anyway, now that I've got a phone that will do apps, I need some apps! got a compass, an offroad GPS, handyman calc, weather radar, translator, protractor, star gazer, gas prices app, tapatalk, music identifier, bird book, Advanced task killer (to shut down any app I don't want running in the background), even an app that tells me wait times at disney world. :D what else should I grab?

I lost both my fiberglass sticks to tree branches. :( definitely recommend adding a spring base to them (wish I had thought of that earlier).

WJ arms are much better than even new MJ arms and much cheaper (about $30 a pair at a junkyard). :thumbsup: just need to trim the steel bushing a bit with the tool of your choice (angle grinder, sawzall, etc).

the pilot bearing in my 88 was destroyed LONG before I pulled the trans for the 4wd conversion. like, so destroyed that the bearings didn't exist anymore. truck ran fine. :yes: never even knew it was bad. :dunno:
