my peugeot had a slow oil leak and would act up everytime the fluid got low.

there's a little plastic clip that hold the metal rod in. it rotates out of the way of the rod.

So I was just scrolling through threads on where that stupid little buzzer is and how to remove it. But man that is a good idea!! :banana: yup. works perfect. :thumbsup: I went one step further and also disconnected the passenger outside button so I can never forget to lock it. :D It's such a small truck that it's a cinch to lean over an open the handle for someone.

looks like you guys are right. :thumbsup: I pulled out the switch then cleaned up the contacts as best I could and it seems to work again. :dunno: we're running a load of clean pots to verify it does a whole cycle.

my parents have a 10 year old Electrolux dishwasher that's on the fritz. no paperwork (it came with the house). will only fill with water at the very very first click of the dial (rinse/delay) won't fill at any other setting. but it will think it's filled and starts to make all the other noises. will run fine if I manually fill with water. drains fine too. I'm ready to set fire to it. :fs1:

there's quite ayear range that will work, but I do believe you can just ask for a late 90s fullsize chevy truck drop shackle. don't think it matters 2wd or 4.

my pump was grounding to the rear ground behind the taillight (and not doing it well) so I added a ground directly from the pump harness to the frame.

I sure hope you fixed that. it's usually just a vacuum leak at the vacuum reservoir. :thumbsup:

it's a good idea in theory, but the problem is that the vast majority of members only come by once in a while and so you'll have a whole forum filled with no-response threads. best bet is to get some club cards so you can give the MJ owner one. :thumbsup:

I wasn't necessarily talking about a new coil. ANY appropriate coil will do since if it i the coil, you'll notice a difference. Come to think of it, same goes with the CPS. got any pull-a-part style junkyards near you? any fellow renix owners that might loan you their parts?

after all the other dead ends you've found, I'd still swap it out for another just to see.

glad I could help spread the disease. :D I caught it from a guy named Rob Bryce and his Black and Tan build. you should have seen her when I bought her. sporting tiny 195 size tires, a hideous aluminum cap and those awful gold stripes running down her sides. fast as the dickens though. :D don't have any pre-mods photos of her unfortunately. you're referring to The XJ Builders Guide. :D I still find it hard to believe my baby's in a book! :eek:

it kinda sounds like the coil is bad. meaning as it heats up it eventually fails putting out a good spark.

:drool: plenty have dreamed. few have tried. even fewer have succeeded.

'tis a good plan. :D the last nut holding it on is accessed by undoing the pass side engine mount and jacking up the block so you can try to finagle a 3 foot ratchet extension in there. :doh:
