  1. oh great. now after I make one from PVC I get to look at it every day going, damn... that coulda been cool... but... :( very sweet man
  2. ATF vs MTF and yes I've seen it before. but anywho... according to your photo in the other thread it appears you have a Peugeot and that takes regular ol' 75-90 GL-5 gear oil.
  3. my first thought... is that I played way too much GTA vice city...
  4. I see them just fine :dunno:
  5. factory Jeep rims across all the MJ/XJ/TJ/YJ/ZJ models have the same backspacing regardless of rim diameter or width: 5.25"
  6. in the world of big tires, the manual trans needs MORE gearing help when starting from a stop. otherwise the clutch can suffer immensely. the torque converter in an auto is a good bandaid that makes up for a lack of low gears. 3.55 geared axles are so plentiful in the junkyards that no one should have to settle for 3.07s. 3.07s suck.
  7. looks like an airbag overload suspension.
  8. and perhaps my favorite :D
  9. now, I know there are more out there...
  10. what year? auto or manual?
  11. bet it got the most attention :D
  12. plenty of guys running 35s on a 6" lift.
  13. that's what I did to build the bumpers and suspension my truck. carved up the steel with a grinder and tacked everything together with my dinky 110 welder (a $65 harbor freight stick). then I paid a few bucks to have a pro burn it all proper. :D having the l'il welder allowed me to have more control of the build process and save a ton of money over buying other peoples' bumpers (which I wouldn't have been completely happy with anyway).
  14. always good to have a tow rig that can go fetch your wheeler if it breaks. :D
