just a calrification before I head out for my day. all I wanted from bleepin' Jeep was a build thread. no different than all the other build threads. that is not partnership. it's just another step towards collecting and cataloging all things MJ. All MJ enthusiasts are welcome. indeed she does it's just the cutest thing!

I picked a hell of a week to try and quit caffeine. made it 4 days this time too. gave up while trying in vain to fix a remote starter for a friend. just couldn't focus through the headaches. plus I've overtaxed my brain this past week anyways so there's that dragging me down too. oh, and the CC headaches are fun on top of it all. Maybe when I get to GA next week I'll try again. but anywho, if you gentleman had all said your piece, I'd love to move on and get some sleep without worrying about what I'll find here in the morning. I've got another half of a tree to cut up and stack for my cousin while she's at work. oh and that garbage disposal install. but it's all totally worth it just to get help from the 3 year old. she likes to walk up and say "you need help!" in the cutest little british accent. (she's not british, but it sure sounds that way)

I don't necessarily disagree. but this could also be just a guy looking for opinions on old Jeeps. don't know until you try.

I am also a bit leery of someone in the media randomly stopping (certainly isn't something that happens every day), but mostly my concerns are of him quoting a random member (who literally could say anything) and attributing it to the Comanche Club. But we have to be friendly with new guys. It's literally in the bylaws. I've edited the thread and opened it back up.
  7. let's try this again. welcome to the ComancheClub how can we help you today?
  8. that's gotta be interesting to drive in on your local roads!

  11. someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think 95 has the good 8.25. I mean, they are all better thana dana 35, btu the early years were (I think) 27 spline.

  15. and if you're putting in an order, there are other 2500 parts that are desirable.
  16. I'd wager if you can get a bunch shipped, you can find buyers reeeeal easy
  17. after a pair of hideous spray-bomb paint jobs, I'd say you saved that MJ very nice work! I happen to know you can get replica Jurassic park mirror tags on ebay.
  18. most any steering wheel from an 80s GM car can be used.
  19. I believe that someone (GJeep?) was installing full glass into older doors using the Chinese 2500's regulators.
  20. sadly, it's always worse on the inside. also, I've seen front fenders used as patch panels to good effect. also, rust free beds exist down south.

  23. just keep in mind that there isn't a clutch safety in our trucks and if you jump the starter while still in gear it'll run you over.
