that seems like extra math. Tim, your method might be important if we needed an exact number, but there are only so many ratios for the Jeep axles and so if it's about 3, you have 3.07. if it's about 3 and a half, you have 3.55. If there were infinite possibilities, then yes, spinning them more and dividing sounds like it'd be a bit easier to get accurate. I just jack up one tire and spin it twice. (unless it's a posi, and then you have to rotate both tires once). It's super easy if you have a helper to spin the tire.

by "front end" do you mean the grille area or the front axle area of parts?

I've got my doubts that a 207 will handle that kind of power. might need to step up to the later 231. honestly, the "ease" of swapping an LS motor has blinded me to all other high-HP swap options.

yes and no. some vehicles are designed in such a way that they utterly reply on the roof for structural integrity. others are designed with "frame" bits like XJs that can hold themselves together. if you're just driving around in that thing, I image it'll be ok. but I don't suggest jumping it. or rolling it. or getting into an accident. or letting ti rust at all.
