  1. after 10 total posts the classifieds will open up to you. it's an anti-spammer thing.
  2. I'll be back home tomorrow and can clean stuff up for ya.
  3. I've had a couple set of coopers and have been happy with them. not those exact ones though.
  4. I'd be willing to make that sacrifice. but depends on how much freeway the truck might see. I regularly drive around with OD off in my PT up to 65mph around town.
  5. spotted this little guy snoozing on a door. seems an odd place to spend the night, but to each their own.
  6. we will definitely have to update the pics
  7. 2.5L + manual + 31s = I'd do 4.56
  8. you need to replace the gunk in the c101 so something will keep the moisture at bay.
  9. well, I guess it's official then. winter is here.
  10. not yet. mine have all fallen apart. you should probably start a new thread with that question so more eyes will see it. or maybe alter the title? can members do that?
  11. if there ANY doubts, now's the time to replace things. I promise you do NOT want to tear into a second time because you tried to save a couple bucks.
  12. the big chunks of steel underneath that have 2 big bolts each, one on either side of the crank.
  13. it's not my first choice (or even third), but through a series of unfortunate events, the truck in my driveway has a headliner meant for a fullsize truck that I cut down and made fit.
  14. if anyone needs to know what my wall wants for christmas. https://www.ebay.com/itm/146184745644
  15. and by pushing the tires, you can feel the bubbles. plus you can work it back and forth faster than the steering column could ever do. I'm having a hell of a time getting the last bubbles out of the box and I've found I can feel the dead spot in the middle of travel, wiggle the tires back and forth vigorously at that spot, then hard to the pass side which pushes a bubble out. rinse and repeat until you're exhausted.
  16. thought it was the steering column doing it, but the pitman arm itself moves to one side a bit more than the other. is this normal? tires move about the same side to side. truck has a ZJ box and is lifted 3" so I'm trying to narrow down the variables.
  17. fyi, today I've found it's easier to bleed the new power steering box by manually pushing the tires back and forth with your hands than rotating the steering wheel back and forth. (engine off, tires in the air). for bonus points you can use your knees and stand right there and watch the bubbles.
  18. have you cleaned up the ground? added a new ground? or if the ground side is strong, maybe try bypassing the ballast resistor to give it more positive juice while running.
  19. I love a clean stockish truck! (the brake prop arm in the one picture is inverted)
  20. drop the pan and redo it. gotta bite the bullet on this one.
  21. buy a quality one, but not a crazy 8 or 10-way one.
  22. there's a handle under the drivers side. but there are catches on both sides and it's common for the pass side catch to stick or even the cable between them to break.
  23. score!!
