  1. the problem with the philosophy of "good enough is good enough" is that it very frequently isn't. there are more than enough words (and plenty of grammar rules) that a person should be able to exactly communicate their thoughts, even if it takes a paragraph or an entire essay to do so thoroughly. When it comes to communication far too many humans are inherently lazy, take personal offense if they are ever corrected, and will repeatedly rationalize their way out of any form of self-improvement. nothing new there though. Humans be humans.
  2. I figured you'd like that. I could have picked a photo of one that could spell, but... nah!
  3. kick that screw's butt with some science
  4. missed one @eaglescout526
  5. -you can do a surprising amount of trail running with 2wd and a locker thrown in. (same rules apply: recovery points front/rear and never wheel alone) -a huge percentage of the 4wd trucks on the road never do anything that actually needs 4wd -desert prerunners and indoor trophy trucks are usually 2wd -if anyone is worried about resale, can't get any easier to return to stock
  6. one thing I've noticed about MJs, they don't need the big lift and tires that other trucks need in order to attract attention. also, you can lift a 2wd just the same as a 4wd.
  7. woke up to this stuck in my head so I figured I'd share. (you'll want a system with some bass) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAXz2z4giws
  8. a 5k tow rating and gobs of torque. I'd wager that more than half of her 200k miles are towing/hauling something.
  9. she's more of a giant waterproof tool bag to me these days. over the years she was my primary tow rig, but she's earned a retirement from that (now that I have the Durango available to me for anything bigger than the MJ trailer).
  10. since '07. can't imagine life without it. the noise of a diesel is quite addictive
  11. the 2.8Ls are... shall we say, quirky and a bit high maintenance. mine has been good to me, but then I disabled the EGR very early on (the US egr seems to be a major cause of issues). If you'd like to know more about them, I highly recommend this forum http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=5&sid=bc968cb8e3226e1c6273d2619fdf7551

man.... that's the just the worst of the "where are they now?"
  13. there were only ~16,000 total CRD Libertys sold in the US ('05-'06). thankfully many, many more were sold overseas or I'd be totally screwed for parts. I have one
  14. I see no reason to swap 20 year old Jeep parts onto a perfectly good 30 year old Jeep.
  15. looks like we should be all caught up very soon.
  16. 89 complete.
  17. I love towing things with our '16 hemi durango. having an air suspension just means ya gotta keep an eye on a few more parts. If it's possible, I would pursue the Mopar forever warranty.
  18. these were all from the auction site we've been stealing VINs from the last couple days for the registry.
