  1. she's still capable of driving me to town or to the junkyard, but I just can't trust it to pull a trailer. thankfully I've got the PT Cruiser mostly functional again so our household is back to 2 and a half cars.
  2. Mopar forever warranties for the win! I'd prefer to take the Libby but she's being a punk right now. (limp mode no longer clears with the code reader)
  3. I would. makes for a good story for later.
  4. gettin' into the good stuff now!
  5. probably not, since they used fire like I suggested

I think technically the engine block still "exists"? I think the rest of that list is loooooong gone.
  7. is it wrong that I kinda really want that tailgate?
  8. at least it was aftermarket?

I do believe this one is bound for the great big soup can in the sky...
  10. clearly the only solution is fire
  11. got the VIN!
  12. if I lived in AZ there's no way I'd trust an ancient radiator. new one all the way. don't skimp on the important things.

  14. 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92... I count eight calendar years of manufacture. technically 85 and 92 are half years so 7. I guess that's roughly 9. still, it's a gorgeous truck.
  15. lucky number 13. plus extras including rockers, headrest bench, and a rear frame.
  16. the blue one parked in front of the american flag is a photoshop.
  17. even being a dana 35, the 4.10s is a great upgrade over 3.07 or 3.55. I'm sure someone would love to have it.
  18. I put 200k miles on my Liberty (in AWD no less) before I had to replace a single moving part up front. unlocking hubs are just another overly complicated thing that will eventually break. a few years back I had to help a buddy replace one in his ford (on a brutally cold day of course) because otherwise he had no 4wd.
  19. um, just leave them locked. tadaa! they are deleted! old school is indeed cool, but old school can be a real pain in the finger tips when the hub is jammed and won't fully turn to lock and it's -10* outside and I start to question why I chose this overly complicated solution to a problem that didn't exist in the first place.
  20. no, they are a pain. if I didn't have the stupid minispool up front I'd have locked them and left them that way long ago. I apparently needed to learn some lessons the hard way.
  21. yeah, I've had my fill of locking hubs what a pain in the butt they can be.
  22. the real question is still, does all that effort actually give you more than you can get with just upgraded shafts/joints in a dana 30? the dana 30 is no slouch and the late model ujoints are the same ones found in a 44. and when it comes to failures, the joints are by far the most common I've seen (not counting failures due to lack of preventative maintenance)
  23. you should start a build thread in the projects subforum. not many are going to read the registry and keep up on your work.
