I honestly don't see Jeep changing anything unless it starts affecting their pocketbook. some dude suddenly being unhappy with the names they've been using for decades isn't going to change their minds about their prized nomenclature. I smell a cash grab.

this '92 truck is for sale out west. asking price is $15,000. looks like he spent a pretty penny on the parts. I do wonder what it might actually sell for. there's no doubt it used to be a serious collectors item.

out of curiosity, is the plastic tab on the corresponding chunk of plastic broken? are we trying to solve a problem that doesn't actually exist because the trim will go right back on, screw or no screw?
