normally I would say that the bumper can be whacked back into shape, but XJ front bumpers are fairly plentiful and cheap.

build sheet shows Z5B, which says 1800lbs, but is the same code as other metric tons so I'm inclined to think it's a reused code. has the 44 and the 15x7 steel wheels, so I think I'll give it to them that this was a factory Metric Ton (until they swapped out the leafs for lift packs).

all years of MJ/XJ use the same windshield glass. bonus points if you get the 97+ rubber trim (the glass itself still glues in, the rubber trim just replaces the metal trim)

it is very likely that the tank itself holds more than 23 gallons. in theory the shutoff triggers before it is completely full, but if something has gone wrong, it might not stop on time.

well, I added it to the registry so we'll see what the VIN says. beautiful truck though. too bad it was a repaint.

the build sheets are not infallible, especially the tank size (a LOT of them say 20 gal for some reason, which was never offered in an MJ )

everything more or less bolts in. but also there's always the chance that the code is screwed up in the computer. that always hangs over our heads with these things.

yeah, if the pizza has a super hard crust when I go to chop it up, I just trim that bit off and discard.

some of the 2-tones might be challenging to find

oohhhhh, that notch around the gas door would drive me nuts. I think I'd almost rather slice the door in half.
