  1. if you want an alarm, just buy a car alarm and install it. if you are looking for a kill switch, I prefer to wire it in (with a relay) to the pump resistor wire so the truck starts but dies after each attempt making it appear that it's just an old piece of crap rather than a protected truck where the thief just needs to find the kill switch. this is hypothetically speaking of course. I've got no idea of the thought process inside a thief's head.
  2. they rarely come out intact.
  3. I'll bring the sawzall!
  4. bonus points if you run all new wiring and just reused the connectors!
  5. bring over all of the wiring and make it fit... somewhere. plus fuel pump stuff. you'll either need to integrate it all with the current body wiring, or pare it back to make it a stand alone control system.
  6. longbed S-10 or ranger is close enough to give us a topper, I imagine one of them is close enough to give you a cover.
  7. Last I heard, Downey folded.
  8. more or less nothing is in the same place between the YJ and MJ and so you'll be inventing as you go.
  9. talk to a body shop. that's an easy fix and shouldn't need any welding.
  10. gears gears geats. nothing gives a kick in the pants like a big bump in ratio.
  11. I'd join the Mexico MJ group on facebook and let them know. chances are good it's already south of the border and so those are the eyes you want looking.
  12. all MJs came with the same rear bumpers (chrome or black) and same brackets.
  13. you better have grabbed those seats
  14. Sexy!
  15. hoping to just grab some at Hobby Lobby tomorrow. if I fail I'll let ya know.
  16. I'm probably just going to trim the plastic a bit. the tubes will fit out the firewall just fine and I was planning on replacing that gasket with a custom cut piece anyway.
  17. this one: https://www.amazon.com/Evaporator-Core-Compatible-Jeep/dp/B09S41YQ8Y
  18. amazon. technically I didn't order it. but I did find it and send her the link. the overall size is good and the ports are good, just a bit off in location.
  19. looks straight except for the obvious. good score! not a lot of people browse the builds with intent to sell things, but after only 10 total posts the classifieds will open up to you.
  20. pretty sure all the 2.5Ls were open.
  21. have you looked for a local spring shop? what about building a junkyard bastard pack? I looked up the GS website and it says this: which sounds promising. maybe they can build what you desire. https://www.generalspringkc.com/leaf-springs/jeep/comanche/
  22. does your phone open up the link properly?
