  1. looks straight except for the obvious. good score! not a lot of people browse the builds with intent to sell things, but after only 10 total posts the classifieds will open up to you.
  2. pretty sure all the 2.5Ls were open.
  3. have you looked for a local spring shop? what about building a junkyard bastard pack? I looked up the GS website and it says this: which sounds promising. maybe they can build what you desire. https://www.generalspringkc.com/leaf-springs/jeep/comanche/
  4. does your phone open up the link properly?
  5. what about General Spring?

    Lost.....

I think those are going to stick way, way out after spacers. I'd keep looking. just because it's a good deal, doesn't automatically make it a good idea.
  7. laptop or phone? for a laptop you want to zoom in to where you want to drop the marker, then click on the "add marker" icon. then click there and fill in a title. it doesn't have to be your actual house. you can drop it in a city center or wherever.
  8. the master DIY thread with all the links has over 100k views. but there's rarely much discussion so I prefer new threads to start here for comments.
  9. I've never found a factory jack I liked. I put a cheap 2ton hydraulic floor jack in everything now. doesn't fit the MJ cab very well though. I store mine in a box in the bed. my 88 still has a carpet dash cover I bought 20 years ago. infinitely better than a cracked dash. I've seen those rims call "10 hole" wheels. if it had the little fake rivets it'd be an Eliminator rim. If they aren't all corroded, I'd definite;y be happy getting them for a little over 100. if the carpet works for you, I can see it being worth 75. but I'd need to see it in person.
  10. part number checks out with what the manufacturer says it goes to, but those ports are definitely not in the exact same location (even thought hey are spaced apart from each other the same) and that interferes with the plastic on the hvac box. did I get a 97+ or something?

    Opinions?

I keep forgetting about that. do we have it as a writeup in the DIY yet?
  12. bananas. owls or hawks?

interesting. admittedly the lists we get back from chrysler are rarely complete and are fraught with reused codes, but that's the first I've heard about the tach code being wrong.
  14. no, that code is usually wrong. I went through and edited it for ya. do double check your axle ratio. it definitely wasn't the 4.78 that was previously written there but it might not be 4.10 either.
  15. make sure they are the correct "J" keys (stamped on the key). earlier AMC keys look similar but are not usable. correct year keys can go much higher on ebay depending on supply at any one time (it fluctuates widely).

    Opinions?

10"wide rims PLUS adapters? crap that's a lot of tire sticking out.
  17. wouldn't that be a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern? either way it is stronger than a 44, but marginally. I'd still lump it in the d44/8.8/97+8.25/9" family. V8 capable for sure, but not dana 60 levels of strong.
  18. yeah, a cover really cleans it up.
