  1. track width doesn't need to be the same front to rear. if you do the same treatment to the front, the rears will still look "off".
  2. a bit of an odd find. https://www.ebay.com/itm/204223754128
  3. yup. old cars. do it while you're there.
  4. Pat just bought one with it. hes planning on installing a hidden bluetooth amp so he can keep the factory blank in place. I beleive he's installing some hidden speakers so he doesn't have to cut the door panels. I mean, the phone does it all anyway, so why not just skip the middleman.
  5. hoods are cheap. try it on some spare sheetmetal first.
  6. I'm down to my last Don tribute stickers and the club magnets. these days I average maybe one person a month that asks for things, but 3 have made requests in the last 2 days and I don't have enough magnets. is this something we want to continue? do the owners that go to car shows want a bunch for this summer? these are the items paid for by you guys that I then hand out free (as opposed to the larger decals where I front the cash). I need to buy in bulk (though at least these days it's a lot less than the 500 piece packs I did before). opinions? ideas for other handouts? what say you?
  7. nice! I would contemplate some 1.5" spacers for the rears. something about the 7" steel rims seems to make the MJ's wide butt more obvious to my eyes.
  8. dang well, at least you caught it before it caught fire.
  9. vid on the f35. it's like living in the future.
  10. wheel bolt pattern and overall tire size are the limiting factors you're going to run into. the 17/18" measurement itself isn't a hindrance.
  11. oh, and when you figure out where you want your work bench desk, put one of these above and put it on a dimmer. I bought one for my mom's laundry room and she loves it. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Lithonia-Lighting-I-BEAM-15000LM-4000K-LED-High-Bay-Light/1001568698
  12. truth. we put lights in the barn (8' ceilings) every 3rd joist and I still want more. (unfortunately it was done juuuuust before LED shop lights exploded on the market and so they are merely next-gen florescents.) I'm thinking on slapping a bunch of tape LEDs along the rest of the joists.
  13. any 2.5L engine throughout the entire XJ run will swap right in.
  14. did you test any of the items or just replace them?
  15. only the AX-15 has a different crossmember. all others use the same one. XJ and MJ shifter assemblies are the same. TJ and YJ transmissions will clock the t-case up a bit. pull the electric parts out of the t-case and insert the mechanical bits. far as I know all AX-15s use the same clutch.
  16. I've always admired my nephews' ability to sleep soundly in positions I couldn't fold myself into while awake.
  17. manual trans? I ask because fluid leaking down from the master cylinder and getting into the fuse box can cause weird things to happen.
  18. I'd assume that they are wired with resistors so as to be compatible with the regular blinker pot, but haven't heard anything concrete yet. I'm very sure that some custom wiring is necessary.
  19. it made mention that the ones shown were prototypes.
  20. MJ and XJ rear wheelwells are different and so the flares are also different.
  21. if you can see the white underneath, it's sun damage to the plastic itself.
  22. Comanches and Dakotas do not share frames. not sure what we can do for you.
