I would:
-pull up the carpets and check for moisture
-replace the battery cables if they are even slightly aged
-check the condition of all the front suspension and steering
-oil change, air and fuel filters,
-trans filter (not a full flush though, I'd just replace what came out when I dropped the pan)
-Check the gear oil level in rear axle,
-completely bleed out the brakes with new fluid
