I recently got a family member back from pot. My cousin was forced to go 6 months pot-free to get off his pot-parole and says the break has freed him from the dang stuff. The way he talks about it, you'd swear he was a recovering alcoholic. Y'all can talk all you want about pot "not killing anyone", but just from my own personal observation it can steal peoples' lives from them. I know plenty of pot-partakers and most of them have lives that are just stalled. I can understand liking a buzz, but every freaking day? :ack: Also, just because alcohol may be worse does not logically mean that the lesser of the 2 should also be allowed. Medicinal pot on the other hand, well, that's a different story. I'm all for exploring what every chemical on this earth can do to help out society. :thumbsup:

I've done some almost-scientific experiments with the full-time in the Libby and found no discernible difference in mileage between 2wd and 4wd fulltime. Admittedly that was mostly freeway travel.

Nah, I know the 97+ have the different striker. I was thinking that the change happened in 96. Is it seats? Did the seat pedestals change in 96? 96 was such a messed up year.

I would take this opportunity to do that. Use an o2 safe throttle body cleaner, an old toothbrush and some Q-tips to clean out any carbon buildup. I still think there's a vacuum leak somewhere. Do you have a propane torch handy? Or a can of starter fluid?

Yeah that. :D Also 96 XJs have the same fenders. The reason I didn't includ 96 in the door post is that, if I remember right, the 96 XJ has different door strikers and would need mods minor to work.

Oh, it was a sledge for sure. :D I snapped a few photos (that I'll upload as soon as I find the camera's stupid cable), but the end result is that a firm poking or an impact from a hard edge will scrap bits off. The impact with the big rubber dead-blow caused no damage what so ever to the paint, only dented the heck out of the fender. :D Now, having said all that, I didn't exactly prep this old fender quite as well as I did my truck. I didn't have this type of test in mind at the time, but rather I just wanted to get a feel for how the stuff gets applied before I hit my baby with it.

An AX-5 from any 2.5 powered XJ/MJ/YJ/TJ of any year, although the wrangler transmissions will take a small amount of modding (and use of your current shifter handle).
