I can. throughout history the greedy or power-hungry have used religion as an excuse or motivator in order to wage war. the guys on the ground may think they're doing their god's work, but the war was all about gaining more power for the guys in charge. I'm a christian, but I view the creation story as a story that was written for the people of the time, who had very little knowledge about the universe. How could the people born thousands of years ago possibly grasp much beyond "God did it".

I think there's a 2.5 oil pan in the garage. If you can come get it I'll trade ya for some Mountain Dew (or Beer if you're old enough) or a donation for the website costs. I'm in Riverview, MI 48193. Then that might be your problem. The key with a sealed system is to keep is sealed. If pressure is escaping out the pressure bottle, then the temp will rise.

that's a matter of debate. there's nothing wrong with a closed system that's working well. In fact, it's better due to the higher temps you can run (higher temps are better for burning gas, but you can't go higher than the temp limit for the engine components). lots of guys tout that the open system cured their woes, but most would probably have fixed their woes when replacing the same components with new, but retaining the closed system. either or will work fine. Is there any hissing or leaking coming from your pressure bottle? (the thing that looks like an overflow bottle)

x2 I had a reman fail and leave me stranded after about 10k miles (which limited my options to what the nearest parts store had on hand which happened to be another reman :fs1: ). I still think it's the old radiator.

is it overheating when stationary? or when on the road?

plan on swapping absolutely everything from the Cherokee, including the wire harness. :thumbsup:

4.3 will be easier to keep cool. ask pilotblake about his v8 cooling issues. :D

If you use the 231, there's no more using 4wd on dry pavement. You'll lose the fulltime feature that the 242 affords. I think the 242 is a bit longer than the 231. But I'm straining the brain here and I might be wrong. :dunno:

I'd imagine that if it fits a S-10 or ranger, it should be close enough to work on an MJ.

Yup, keeping the MJ stuff is out. But he should be able to use the complete chevy drivetrain.

where is the grinding coming from? could the t-case be knocked out of gear?

if your Jeep is like mine used to be, the smoking is from the oil dripping onto the exhaust pipe. This was my cure: I used a length of sheetmetal, attached it to the pipe with hose clamps, and wrapped it a round to the oil would hit it and drip off rather than burn off. Do you have any nasty buildup on the crossover pipe?

what's your caster set to?

I removed mine with the main window rolled all the way down. :thumbsup: It's a tight fit, but it works.

Don't buy the cheapest, buy the next step up. shocks are like filters in that you do get something for your money. :thumbsup:

looks like a regular older model with the add-in cupholder insert. sometimes you can find the cupholder on ebay. :thumbsup:

Likewise it's been a while for me, but I remember two in the top and one more at the bottom of the window track. I don't think it was a rivet though.
