  1. oh sure, the one time I don't double check if the pic works. :shake: new one in its place.
  2. I don't know how long a manual trans lasts with water contamination, but I know low long a Peugeot will last with no fluid whatsoever. :D about 20 miles before I could no longer shift cause it finally got stuck in 3rd. then another 5 or 6 miles to get home. the dang thing blew a hole out the side while on the freeway traveling home. :fs1:
  3. be aware that the rear driveshaft is what keeps the fluid inside the t-case (or trans if 2wd).
  4. I can copy/paste with the best of them.
  5. That would be good, we seem to be missing one. Done. :D viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18415
  6. a more direct link: (for those too lazy to scroll all the way down :D ) http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... 636#p21636
  7. Nice lookin' truck. Just don't spend any money regearing that Dana 35.
  8. You'll get plenty of warning before any possible switching. :D I'm not even thinking about taking on another bill until I have some solid employment.
  9. Lions FTL!
  10. I've not seen anything about the quick replies yet. :dunno: but we're due for another update so we'll see.
  11. ford radius arms ftw! :D
  12. A stick offroading will tend to need deeper gears than an auto, especially in the rocks. In '97 I tore up my left hand pretty bad and I still drove a stick (my 88 MJ) even though I was essentially one handed for 2 weeks. :D and that commute was a 3 hour round trip. automatics are just too boring.
  13. so it sounds like my 2.8, eh? :D
  14. all the info I have in my head came from the advance adapters website (and that little booklet they used to give out). I would recommend starting there for tips
