  1. photos?
  2. Post that up in the wheeling forums. though it is kinda last minute.
  3. check that the CPS wires aren't touching the exhaust and check that there isn't a ton of corrosion in the CPS harness connector.
  4. CPS?
  5. Not that i've heard of. :dunno:
  6. It's likely a combination of both problems.
  7. really!? What's the name of the park? city?
  8. Don't have any XJ stuff. XJ shackles can actually be detrimental on an MJ :(
  9. the front stuff will work. not so much the rear, but going SOA will match that front lift anyway. SYE will not be needed (but is a good strength upgrade if you can float the money). MJs have waaaaaay more wheelbase and so the rear shaft is huge. At 6" you should look into getting a rear driveshaft that's maybe an inch longer than current. But other guys have run the stocker for a while.
  10. I think my sis works in Covington. that, or Covington was the previous place she taught. :dunno:
  11. wouldn't be the first non-MJ in the projects forum. :D
  12. with something that big and no insulation, I fear you may just create a hot spot next to the fire. :( what about constructing a smaller shop inside the huge barn?
  13. ok, that's enough. I'm freezing that account. If there is a real person behind it, PM me if you want to continue being a part of this club.
  14. simply cut off the XJ perches and weld some on in the proper MJ location. MJ perches are closer together than XJ stuff, so you can't just bolt it up.
  15. are the sandbags situated right above of in front of the rear axle?
  16. X2 I paid a visit over to the Yahoo board the other night.....haven't been there in a couple of years.....wow Pete, yer a good guy for keeping that site going, but seriously....WTH is with those who still cling to that place?!?!?!? Jeff :dunno:
  17. yours is downright complex compared to mine. I didn't even cap the ends. :D
  18. My bushings are toast too. :( But I'll keep ya in mind
  19. Wade says he used the ones meant for the 88-06 chevys. I have a feeling that there's no real difference between the years, but I'd play it safe and get those since they're proven to work.
  20. I'm installing the rust free leafs I got from GA in my '90, but wasn't able to salvage the shackles with them. :( The old rusty shackles are trashed. Hoping to find someone that pulled their stockers for aftermarket. willing to trade for comanche club swag. :clapping:
  21. yup, wrangler hoses are longer than MJ/XJ fronts. Several hoses are longer for the rear. I used a 95 Dakota line
  22. It's free software, what can ya do. :dunno: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2059 viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18171 viewtopic.php?f=2&t=54 (so old that a lot of the photos don't load. :( ) How I found them was I searched for "bumper bumpers", search for any term, in topic titles only, then had them listed by topic title (rather than by individual threads).
  23. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19787&p=203444&hilit=ebay+chevy+shackles#p203444 also, there are a pair of 1 7/8" spacers in the for sale forum: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=20221 and a pair of used chevy shackles on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... %26ps%3D63
  24. Is your shop insulated? if not, that'd be step one. my garage isn't and the propane heater can really struggle. :(
  25. A/C delete kit? There are vacuum testers out there (try searching at harborfreight.com) check the condition of the vacuum canister. should be up behind the front bumper on the pass side. The lines going to it seem to fail early. Also check your front axle lines if 4wd. how well does your truck idle?
