rust is the enemy. I had a cracked leaf in both packs of my 88 before I started the build. I assembled 2 good packs (with extra main leafs as AALs) out of 4 packs during the build. They survived just fine for the next few years of hard wheeling, rusty though they were. When I had the opportunity, I bought a set of rustfree packs from Florida. Not sure if the Chevy packs will work for you. lots of variables in leaf springs. What particular Chevy are they out of?

Yes. but while it's possible that it's bad, it isn't likely. computer failures are pretty rare. Also, make sure you quadruple-check for vacuum leaks. Especially at the sealing surface between the intake manifold and head.

don't worry, it doesn't have one. :thumbsup: The best the older trucks have is the o2 light that's on a stupid timer.

I'd certainly consider a sticky if the maker swings by with a list of MJ stuff he has (and hopefully some photos. :D )

I love the "magnifying glass" setting on my canon cybershot. :D and I dream of the day i can get a digi slr. :( had to sell off my film canon elan7e a while back. The little camera takes decent images though (as long as it isn't dark and you don't want a forced long exposure :fs1: ) and one more of my truck, just cause I like the colors. :D

Probably not much usable on that Dak for an MJ, but if you should be able to flip it (fixed or not) for a small profit if you know where to advertise.
