  3. I do believe my nos cap was for the studded Es but it is sitting in a nos non-E.
  4. it most definitely wasn't built for freeway driving. Russia doesn't really have a lot of those things.
  5. I mean the harness plug that attaches right to the pull-out headlight switch in the dash. the one that likes to catch fire now and again.
  6. have you inspected your headlight switch plug? how bright are your lights?
  7. is the spacer needed for clearance or something?
  8. anything that runs the big current can melt or go bad. this includes the headlight switch which is why the relay kits are popular.
  9. our search function shows like 20 total.
  10. front yes, rear no. the MJ has a foot more wheelbase and thus a foot more driveshaft than a comparably equipped XJ.

  15. the link in my signature might still have some active links to PDFs of the factory shop manuals.
  16. yup, track it back to the switch itself.
  17. a self-ranging multimeter is like having super powers. same with a non-contact voltage tester, but that's more about houses and not getting shocked.
  18. weird. what phone are you using?
  19. nice! don't we have a "tools you made" thread in tech somewhere?
  20. as easy as it can get.
  21. follow Cruiser54's renix tips and add an additional ground right by the blower. this should be done by everyone even if they aren't currently having troubles. should be one of the first links in the link in my signature.
  22. "harder to find" does not equal "impossible to find". plenty of guys out there parting out the old Jeeps if you ever need one.
  23. what procedure are you using to check the ground strength?
