I follow some FB KJ pages and can't say I've ever heard anyone ask that question or suggest changing them or say that they roasted the engine that way. usually the 3.7 engine dies by overheating or dropping a valve or blowing a head gasket.

those tubes are very important.

in theory it shouldn't have any. in reality the old engines are prone to it. I do believe that one of Cruiser54's tips has valve cover mods that will alleviate most or all of it. should be in the link in my sig.

for power? nothing you'll notice in your butt. a stock engine just doesn't pull enough CFMs to really matter. a 4.7 storker with a wide body TB? then the factory system is a restriction for sure. if you want a kick in the seat of your pants, diff gears are where it's at.

2: as long as nothing goes wrong during disassembly a lunchbox locker takes an afternoon to install. don't forget new gear oil and gasket. 3: you already have a cold air intake. most aftermarket unit's I've seen are actually "hot air" intakes.

ok, so it appears your personal allotment was full, which explains why you can't upload the big things. but our site has a feature that is supposed to be auto-shrinking the files and it wasn't doing that for you. so it's fixed right now, but I gotta dig deeper to see why it ever happened in the first place.

that shouldn't be a problem. sometimes iphones are an issue. is it giving you any sort or warning or message?

we have a rooftop unit in our trailer and, if I was starting from scratch, those newfangled detached units seem mighty tempting if for no other reason than how freaking loud the thing is right above my head.

google "setting up differential gears". it's far more complicated than just bolting them in and requires some specialty tools.
