IMHO, i would not buy either of those kits. For one you get what you pay for, which means the quality of either of these kits is going to be less than perfect. My philosophy is to do it right the first time instead of having to do it again after you realize you made a mistake. It will save you money in the long run and the quality will be much better. My personal favorites are Rubicon Express and Motion Offroad. They are more expensive but they are definitely worth the investment in the long run. http://motionoffroad.com/catalog/index. ... cts_id=208 http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Products. ... 17DF253807 But if you must choose b/t Rough Country and Rocky Road, RC is the lesser of the two evils.

Idiot Guages - got to replace

:agree: Floor shifter would solve the whole problem, and then you could put in buckets with a center console right away. -
Yes XJ clusters work. Best write-up i have found is here. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=921205

I thought that Pioneers came with the idiot lights?? :dunno: My Pioneer originally had the idiot lights until i put in a full cluster (which was not hard btw). And since the truck he's looking at is an AW4 only the idiot lights had the shift indicator built in.

Now thats the kind of brush guard I'm looking for!!! Could you give me some info on where you got it from and/or how much you paid for it. Please and thank you!!! :D -
Well I did email the guy and he said he already had a few serious lookers interested in it, so I sorta figured I'd look elsewhere. Although I could make him a much better offer. 8)

Anyone know where i could find a factory brush guard that mounts on the factory bumper such as this one. http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/pts/968388544.html And if no one sells them online, how numerous are they at junkyards?

KEEP IT!! Doing all the manual work on your manche, such as lifitng it or making it 4wd is what makes MJ's so awesome and rewarding. And if you do it yourselft it costs much less as others have already said. When I first got mine, I immeddiately fell in love, and I would not sell mine for anything. And think about it, if you sell it, it will become much harder to find another one as good as yours in the future. And as most of us if not everyone on here can tell you how good and reliable the 4.0 is. I don't think you will have to worry about it not lasting a long time, because it will. Although if you must sell it, I might be willing to take it off your hands and keep it in good shape if you ever want it back in the future. :D

Ever think of just calling Dell, so they could try and help you. I had a similar situation with my laptop a few months ago, called up Dell (thank God he spoke good English  ) and we did all sorts of different diagnostics and he finally concluded that I needed a new hard drive. Thankfully it was under warranty and I got a free repalcement in the mail a few days later, put it in and everything was working fine again  . Only bad thing is that anything that you had stored on your computer in the past, like downloaded software, and everything saved in Word and anything else will be lost. You can get that info recovered but its like $1000. So I decided to pass on that obviously and have had no problems since (knock on wood). Other than that I have no other ideas as to what it could be. :dunno:

4wd swap as everyone has said is pretty straightforward, just rip everything out of an XJ. As for the cupholder problem, here's a clever way to solve that problem, this will only work however as long as you plan to keep your bench seat. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12850

Heh, I play all those games. We may need to go head to head one day in a CS:S knife fight  Catch me on Steam.. ID is either QuiGonJinn QuiGon-Jinn or.. Qui Gon-Jinn.. I think it's the last one.. What maps do you play on DOD? I usually only play on the orange maps on the Texas Militia server. I actually think i recall your name a few times. My Steam ID is Rising Killer.

I play a couple hours of DOD (Day of Defeat) on my PC almost every night, and love every second of it. :brows:

Up around Tower City and Clarks Valley we got about 4 inches
-
We got about 4 inches in central PA on friday and I was lovin it. Long range forecasts show really cold weather and even a possible snowstorm around Dec 2-5. Who knows though, most of the time the weathermen don't know whats going to happen anyway. :shake:

I do recall a time when my iPod could not be recognized by my pc. I THINK I restarted my computer and then plugged the iPod in again and it worked. Try to restart you computer once or twice :dunno:

You should be proud, I could only get to level 15 before the darn big bastards got me!!!! :fs1:

Dude i love that freaking game!!! I used to spend hours on it trying different things on different levels. Now I've turned to a more gruesome game. :brows: http://onemansblog.com/2007/09/03/stick-man-archery/ Scroll down a bit and you'll see the best game ever!!!

Yes they would fit but are pretty small as others have said. You might want to look for a 225 or 235. I'm running 235's with 3/4 inch coil spacers and there isnt any rub that I can see. But I don't think you can go bigger than 235's without some sort of lift kit.

It would be neat to have something like "It's an MJ thing.....you wouldn't understand." on it somewhere. But I'm fine with anything, because anything is better than nothing.

I think its funny how the wipers keep going and going and going through the entire video. Just like the energizer bunny!! :laughin:
-
Hey!!!! I was going to post those videos!!!! Oh well, you beat me to them, and thats definitely a 1/4 mile and I think it is easily done in a 401. And since the comanche is light in weight it has a really fast pick-up and 10 secs is easily believeable. And who cares if its possible or not, there still really cool videos.
