There's something wrong with people who refuse to convert drum brakes to disks. It's a simple and inexpensive swap, improves braking significantly, requires little maintenance, and might save your life or someone else's down the road. There's not a single advantage to be gained by keeping them.

The Golden Eagle MJ

Thanks - I've never heard of them before. I looked it up and they are still in business with a slight namechange. Nice looking topper. https://sportsland.com/truck-covers/pickup-truck-covers/ -
The Golden Eagle MJ

Have not seen one like before. Who makes it? -
Put a new skinny pedal in this afternoon. Felt like it added about 25HP since it's so firm and opens up the throttle body WIDE-OPEN now. There goes my mileage, but who cares.

The parts manual shows different part numbers for the 93 and 94 XJ bucket seat base frames (the ordinary non-tilt frames), but that doesn't mean the bolt patterns are different - could be something else. OP, to be absolutely certain the XJ bucket seats will fit, try to find 93 and below seats if possible unless you bring one of your bench brackets and match it up to a 94 seat. Would be good info I'd like to know for sure.

Hmm - thought it was 93 and earlier. Dirty's probably correct saying the 94 XJ seats will bolt to the MJ bucket and bench brackets, but when I compared the 93 and 94 XJ seat frames at the junkyard, the seat frame bolt patterns were different. Only the 93 and below XJ bucket seats bolted directly to my MJ bucket seat brackets w/o modifications.

Nomination: Project Plain Jane by jbain. https://comancheclub.com/topic/54219-project-plain-jane/ -
Nope. The AW4 went to 23-spline in 1990.

Been using a 1.6-ohm for years. It'll work fine. https://comancheclub.com/topic/54891-ballast-resistor-poll/?tab=comments#comment-562647

If your XJ seats are from a 95 model, they will not directly bolt to your MJ bench brackets. XJ seat design changed in 1994.

Thanks Fred - will do.

Junkyarding today. Needs/ideas?

I think he means this: -
I installed side markers in mine several years ago and have had no problems. I wired them in parallel to the front turn signals. Make sure the PO didn't wire the side marker bulbs in series as the extra load can cause weird issues on some flasher units. Some LED bulbs can also cause flasher issues when mixed with incandescent bulbs. Try swapping the turn signal and emergency flashers at your fuse panel; you simply might have a bad flasher.

You want a 28mm ZJ front tierod, not WJ. -

Can't dispute that - I flocked up. My sincere apologies MeanLemons, you are 100% correct. -

Nope. The cluster tray, shell, case, housing, whatever you want to call it, are all the same for Renix clusters. The HOs are different, but again the same housing for idiot lights or full gauges. -

Got it - thanks. And yeah - I don't think I'd ever use that. -

Alright, I give up. What is that boomerang-shaped bracket that ties the frame to the upper control arm bolt? -
It should. The trim is stainless and it polished up nicely when I had a new windshield put in.

Ford Ranger bed on Comanche?

It's just a badge, not stamped letters like the MJ tailgate. -

If the Ford bed rear wheel well openings were squared out to more closely match the MJ fronts, it would look real good. Even the fuel filler door looks right. -
