  1. A motorcycle guy from Hungary sent me this video - hope y'all enjoy. I sure did. http://www.flixxy.com/low-altitude-aerobatics.htm
  2. Sounds good. I worked on lots of UPS and generator backup systems in some pretty crappy third world places and the most troublesome part of all of them was the switch gear. I'd set it as high as it could go, although you probably have better power in VA than we do here.
  3. Jeff, how much time delay with your ATS before it switches from commercial power to generator? We get a lot of outages repeatedly here lasting maybe five seconds at a time that would play he!! with an ATS w/o an adjustable delay. Also what about surge protection when the generator comes online?

  5. Do you have headers? On mine, the Flowmaster and Magnaflow caused droning problems at certain RPMs that drove me nuts. Finally ended up with a free-flow cat and a Walker Sound FX w. 2.5" in and dual 2.6" out. Works well and no droning, nice sound too.
  6. Good stroker material.
  7. Ah, the Hooter's Dog Show. Both Gus and I drool watching that.
  8. This is crazy. I watched the end of this dog show tonight, the part at the end where they judge the "Best in Show" from all the dog groups. Gus, my Cocker Spaniel, was intently watching also, very unusual. One of the finalists was a black Cocker, the winner of the Sporting group. She was the first to show, and Gus watched her intently, and silently, his little tail going at about 50 Hz, moaning softly. Then came the parade of the other groups, Terriers, Hunting, Working, etc. Gus went bananas whenever he saw one, barking, growling, looking behind the TV for the dog, and the tail going at about 100 Hz the whole time. This went on for about 30 minutes, and his eyes never left the TV. I was cracking up the whole time. Unfortunately the Cocker didn't win; an Irish deer hound did. This was weird, he's never done anything remotely resembling behavior like this, and usually doesn't give a damn about what's on TV. This little guy never ceases to amaze....
  9. cruiser54, what does your reply have to do with the OP's question? To the OP, the XJ exhaust after the header down pipe is completely different due to wheelbase and routing differences. Any competent muffler shop could make it work by cutting/bending/ welding, but IMHO not a good idea. It would make better economic sense to install the correct exhaust components for your SWB MJ yourself.
  10. UB a damn fool if you don't buy it obvious youngster. Obviously the "old man" owner took care of this truck and it's in super shape. But if you are asking, most likely you can't afford it because one of your major flaws is that it's red. :dunno:

    Comanche value?

No way to guesstimate a "what's it worth" request w/o pics. Was the 94 4.0 swapped using the complete HO OBDI system, or does it still retain the Renix system? Swapping in any 4.0 into an 86 MJ requires engine compartment fabs since the 86 models did not come from the factory with a 4.0 or a D44 axle. The HD axle in 86 was the AMC-20. It's been modified mucho mate.
  12. Can't wait to see the cool glowing effect on the floor.
  13. :D Yeah, it's pretty sad. But maybe it looks like that because it's white. Why does it look decent in your signature though? Just askin.........
  14. Perhaps Incommando and skidoo_j are the trolls here and their ongoing ad nauseaum pissing contest has escalated far from the OP's original question "Getting ready to buy my first Pistol"? Just sayin..........
  15. Good thread and posts from more knowledgeable and more experienced than I . After digesting all this however, I'll still be sticking with my old school long proven and tested Walther PPK's and P38's.
  16. Possible. Have to check it out with the Renix' cluster foils; for sure the HOs go to the + terminal. Don't think the wiring is good based on the OP's symptoms.
  17. Close. They are the original French Marchal lights. Good quality lights. When the supply started drying up, AMC Jeep went with a similar looking light mfg. in the US, with the lens stamped ROL. These were pure junk, rusted out quickly and are mostly gone now.
  18. Yes, you most likely have a ground between the oil pressure sensor and the + terminal of the gauge. I'd look up the correct pin numbers for you, but I don't have an electrical FSM for your year. You need to check for continuity between the male cluster connector to the sensor, and from the female cluster receptacle to the gauge. The cluster foil can sometimes cause this too. I have plenty of these around and can send you one for postage if you need. EDIT: Instead of relying on memory, I checked the FSM. If you have an pegged oil pressure gauge it's caused by an OPEN (not ground/short). Should know by now not to rely on memory anymore. Same procedure though, check for continuity from point to point using the FSM schematic between the sender and gauge, and find out where the open is. Again, could also be the cracked cluster foil causing the open.

    Empty yard

A 48 Triumph 650 TR6, and a 52 Ariel square 4?? WHY?? They don't take up much room or eat much grass. C'mon man. Why didn't you call me first?
  20. Yep. "Free" enterprise. The ultimate oxymoron.
  21. It sounds like you are talking about a disk brake kit backing plate assembly. I guessing here, because of what you're not saying. But it sounds like a Teraflex Ford Explorer rear disk brake kit. Does what you're looking for look like the disk brake adapter plates (on top) here? If so, you can get the plates only from TeraFlex. Different plates for the D35 c-clip and the D35 and D44 rears because of the axle flange bolt pattern.
  22. Penile compensation is best satisfied by motorcycles, not any of the above. But that's another topic. "Getting ready to buy my first Pistol" is this topic.
  23. Engine bay I guess.
  24. Gettin there. Have to replace the left side clutch case cover so no oil in her yet. Image Not Found Image Not Found
  25. I have five handguns. My favorite all-around is the P38.
