  1. Enamel with a roller. Interesting. Have painted lots of vehicles w. enamel back in the day but with an old school Binks top loader gun. I would think if you used a roller, you would have to follow up with a wisk broom to touch up the cracks.
  2. How bout Eli? Peyton who? Brady who? This was the Giants year, Eli's year, and w/o his receivers it wouldn't have happened. Hell of a win.
  3. Go Giants! http://search.yahoo.com/r/_ylt=A0oG7h7xMC9P_SsACDlXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE1M3N1MTBnBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDNgRjb2xvA2FjMgR2dGlkA01TWTAxNV8xNjM-/SIG=120hl4815/EXP=1328521585/**http%3a//www.youtube.com/watch%3fv=EAZfy01LEmM
  4. I like the National wheel bearing kits from O'Reillys. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/BCA0/A2.oap?year=1991&make=Jeep&model=Comanche&vi=1181775&ck=Search_wheel+bearings_C0055_1181775_1312&redirectkeyword=wheel+bearings&pt=C0055&ppt=C0337
  5. This was the problem with mine too. Instead of the bolt and nut I used a 1/4" stainless pop rivet with washer shims top and bottom and it worked fine.
  6. Not to nitpick, but at least you had a propane heater in your unheated shop? But I know what you're sayin. The lows are only down to 50 or so at night and 60s-70s during the day for the last couple of weeks. I like it! But we're getting lots of rain and thunder storms passing through. That's okay - at least they're not tornadoes.......
  7. Fresh out Jake. I do have a NOS can of true bearing grease left I can part with though. 8)
  8. The SPAL controller, at least the model I have, will handle internally a fan up to about a 25A draw. If the fan draws more, you can use the SPAL to trigger external relays for the LO & HI speeds. And the OEM sensor for the temp gauge (not the temp sensor on the HO thermostat housing for the ECU) works just fine for setting the LO & HI speeds on the SPAL.
  9. Gotta disagree, although Corpsmen may be second. An E9 deck ape is next to God. Only thing higher are the few remaining W4 deck apes. I'm sure cody4359 has no idea what we are talking about. :D
  10. Master Chiefs always rule. Especially if they are BMs.
  11. PS7 gray metallic was only used on the 91-92 MJ models. It's my favorite color too. Here's a gorgeous 92 owned by one of our esteemed Cali members. Image Not Found
  12. Sounds like wheel bearings. Easy to replace on a 2WD, just pack them well. Better do it quickly too before you damage the spindle. Get a set of inner and outer bearings/races and the inner seals.
  13. Yeah, know that Thunderbear, spent some quality time at Greely. But you're one of the few.
  14. Snow = salt = rust. But I know y'all rust belt inhabitants can't live w/o more rust. I don't get it.........
  15. CLICKY HERE
  16. Gorgeous Rich.
  17. Glad you found it.

  19. Stews, soups, aye, best food there is this time of year. I can't cook, but Mama is goooood. We have an olde restored Jenn-Air circa 70's electric downdraft stainless range/oven that she prefers over all the modern stuff. Does miracles with it. Easy to fix when it breaks too. :D So much for Sam's new wallet...............
  20. Your counter top is too cluttered. You should have gone with stainless, only because you can't get chrome appliances anymore.
  21. Pump, yes. Vents, yes. Sending unit? It's a different part number, probably just the float arm difference. Might require some creative fabrication since you are going to a shallower tank, or a simple arm/float swap between the two. Should be obvious when the two sending units are side-by-side. Saw Jim's post - I don't think the the tank depths and float arm swings are the same.
  22. Well Joe, I have heard cats passing hairballs (disgusting sounds), but never a starter motor that sounded like that. A unique starter you purchased. :D Back in the day when there weren't cheap "offshore" parts so readily available, we used to have starters, alternators, and generators rebuilt. Sometimes all they needed was a cleanup and a set of brushes, or maybe on open stator rewound, but it's almost always better and more reliable than the offshore junk. There are still a lot of shops around that do this, and it's probably what I would do unless I could find a genuine NOS unit for cheap.
  23. Yes, that is the tranny coolant return line. But what fluid is leaking? Coolant, or ATF?
  24.
  25. Bo, will Curt or whomever manufactures them be replicating the Uhaul PN 75021 hitch pattern? If so it works for all MJs.
