  1. Until you get a regulation lock, throw a radiator hose clamp on it. Most tailgate thieves won't risk the time it takes to remove it.
  2. I wouldn't do anything to the exterior paint except clearcoat. Keep that patina.
  3. They have been putting these vans out since 1984, long before the first MJ saw daylight, so Dodge must be doing something right. The biggest problem they have is their rapid depreciation rate. Drive it till it dies, or gets totaled.
  4. I don't take you as anything mate. Just another mouth on the forum....
  5. Great looking long-bed; obviously well taken care of and very tastefully done. I love the wheels too. It's a winner!
  6. Would have been nice if Jeep offered a beefed up torque converter with the AW4 as a factory option for the towing package. One that would better dissipate the extra heat generated by towing. The AW4 TC's were all the same throughout the XJ/MJ years.
  7. Nope. Sometimes you gotta lighten up and enjoy the ridiculousness. I'd love to see this thing underway...
  8. Thanks. Is it real lound mounted there? And unless this pump comes with a built in filter, you do need a filter on the inlet side. Even it there's one inside the tank.
  9. BLK cross-body wire
  10. No worries. If jbain doesn't have one, he'll build one.
  11. Did you go with this pump? Where did you mount it?
  12. Sorry man. I don't control what you order.
  13. Agree. And while you are doing that, unplug and clean the CPS harness connector. Doesn't take much corrosion causing resistance on the pins/connectors to knock the CPS signal down, especially on a Renix.
  14. I think you mean a 10-slot?
  15. Good for smalls, plus they have four stores in the US you might be close to.
  16. Aftermarket stuff, but great prices. HERE
  17. I did install the dash Jensen speakers a long time ago, but never could hear them. If you have a problem hearing higher frequencies (I do), don't waste your time. As I recall they were 8-ohm speakers and I paralleled them with new 8-ohm door speakers.
  18. The cable grommet is p/o the antenna base assembly and is not available separately. The p/n for the base assembly is 56000282, which is NLA. The 97 and up base is, but the grommet is too small for the 96 and below XJs/MJs. So - find one at a yard is the only option, unless you switch to a power antenna. That's what I did...
  19. Looks like he has the timing marks aligned at TDC.
  20. I swapped those same pads in with NOS rotors I had on my MJ about five years ago - first time I had tried ceramic pads. They have yet to show any wear that I can see. They brake well, are quiet and make zero dust. I'm a believer..
  21. Roger. Count me in then for a set Krusty - same conditions as kryptonic stated are fine with me me.
  22. Yeah, but it would be a crapshoot if they would fit or not. It's really tight, so I'm guessing they wouldn't even be close..
