  1. Especially on vehicles from the rust belt or the frozen north.
  2. Bobbed long beds look perfectly proportioned to me. Should have come from the factory like that....
  3. Si. My driveshaft, slip yoke, and pinion yoke are not stock, so if Mean Lemon is stock, he's probably correct for his configuration.
  4. Damn, that was a bear to find. Glad to hear all is well.
  5. ^^ That looks like the discharge hose for an "American" (dealer-installed) A/C system, not the factory A/C system. You'll have to get it made by an A/C shop or from somewhere like https://jeepair.com/discharge-hose.html

  7. That's for an idiot light. EDIT: Disregard, that's the correct sender for the gauge. Do what Eagle said.
  8. That's looks a bit more than a few months ago...
  9. What's the manufacturer and part number of the sender you are using?
  10. As good a guess as any. I guess.
  11. This is true. Progress strikes again...
  12. Nope, not for some conventional diesel oils, at least so far. A high zinc ppm content is still available, particularly in Chevron Delo 400LE and Shell Rotella. Been using Delo since day one with the stroker for many years now because of the flat tappet higher lift cam I'm running, and because the guys at Hesco told me to. Would be a good choice for your new diesel MJ too John.
  13. You mean the Dana 20? What a dork.
  14. CONDUCTOR, Printed Circuit. And no, it's completely different from the non-idiot light clusters.
  15. You should post up some engine bay shots.
  16. There's quite a history on Ritchie Mines. Looks like a beautiful place to cruise.
  17. So what? In the olde days speed limits were lower, and fuel wasn't loaded with ethanol and other crap additives. Conditions are different now, engines have to work harder today. "How much additional oil do you need?" An extra quart for a couple of bucks more is a decent investment to me.
  18. Because they are not for sale yet, he's gauging interest. I'm sure Krusty will post it soon enough in the classifieds with his desired method of payment.
  19. Try to stick to the topic "Feeler for factory roll bar BRACKETS and factory BENCH SEAT BRACKETS". Or start a new topic.
  20. If they are seized I'd just replace them. They are inexpensive. As I recall I got some new Raybestos cables from Rock Auto.
  21. That's probably it - the inner cables are frozen. I'm using new stock cables for my Explorer disk brakes too, but crossed them over in the back which effectively shortens them a bit.
  22. How are the cables attached to the backing plate e-brake levers? Using a Ford clevis? Are the e-brake inner cables free in their outer sheaths?
