Don't use PB for editing pics after you upload. It's an online procedure and it sucks. Edit your pic locally on your computer with a simple graphics editor of your choice exactly as you want it to appear before you upload it to PB. I use Paint Shop Pro and it does everything I want. Save the pic on your hard drive as a .jpg file, then upload it to PB. Use PB as a image host only.

  3. You can't put them on upside down with the 91-92 models since the top trim bar is molded into the grill.
  4. This thread may help: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1051829
  5. I suppose it's possible some of the 93 seats made it into the 94s, like a lot of things Jeep carried over. If your 96 has the same seat brackets as the 93 (or 94), I don't see how they were bolted to the 96 floor w/o mods because the bolt pattern was completely different.
  6. We're picky-picky even now Pete. :D
  7. Actually the 1993 and below XJ seats are bolt-in for the MJs. The seats were redesigned in 1994 so using these in an MJ involves more work. Can be done of course but not bolt-in.
  8. You have up to 45 days after the sale to open a case.
  9. Just open a case against the seller and report him. If you don't get your $$ or your item from the seller within seven days Ebay will refund your money.
  10. This thread brings up a point that I've always been curious about. The old MJ AMC-20 rear axles are the same length right and left. Yet the Dana 35 and 44 axles are of different lengths. Why? And don't say because they were designed that way. :D I'd rather just have to carry one spare axle to fit either side.
  11. Picky-picky. But correct. Agree. No one would know except you.
  12. That's news to me. Err, yeah, that's kind of a huge generalization. Although my wife, who is a Filipina, has always avoided the number 4 like the plague. Says it's bad luck. Of course she also says that having black ants in the house is good luck. :hmm: Everyone in the world must have good luck in that respect then..............
  13. Exacerly. The D44 left axle is 29.20" long; the right 29.70" long. Thus if you have the pumpkin centered under the truck, the right side will extend 1/2" farther.
  14. But Wait! There's More! This one is also extreamly well built and an extreamly capable offroad rig.
  15. Is this the 4.7L stroker in your signature w. a 4.2 crank? Has it ever run at all? How 'bout some history on this.
  16. Back to the topic: Check the gauge wiring between the temp sensor and the gauge first. Turn ignition to RUN (do not start). Remove temp sensor wire connector from the sensor. The gauge should indicate HOT to the right. Then touch the sender wire to ground. The temp gauge should indicate COLD to the left. If the gauge does not react this way you probably have a wiring problem (open circuit). If it does, you probably have a defective sensor.
  17. EDIT: Misread your question: They UK XJ cluster odometers are in miles.
  18. The left and right rear e-brake cables from the splitter to the drums are the same, p/n 52000865.
  19. Yep. Learned it from Rob. This is the 91 and up cluster w. the police speedo inserted. Plug and play. But it needs new gauge faces to make them match. The police speedo never came with the full 6-guage cluster. The other pic I posted above is the UK cluster found in all their 91 and up XJs until the dash change.
  20. Much ado about nothing. With no pics, it's doesn't make good sense to even ask a "what's it worth" question. AMC vs. Chrysler, don't matter. Drive train components don't matter. Being it's a 92 don't matter. Red color or whatever bumpers don't matter. What matters most to me is that this rig is from WI. Salt doesn't care about all the above. Unless this thing was parked after the first snowfall every winter for it's entire life, it's a rust bucket. W/o detailed pics or a personal inspection, it's worth maybe $1000 for parts for me. And that's being generous.
  21. KPH.
  22. No, that's the police package cluster. This is the one I like:
  23. Here's a 200KPH (124.2742 MPH) NOS speedo that will work - I've been thinking about it. CLICK You can also get them from the UK as the 91+ XJs all got 120 MPH speedos. But because they are RHD there's a couple of jumper wires you have to wire in on the back foil but it's easy to do.
