  1. And just who is this person to whom you are Lmao at sport?
  2. On Amazon they are $67.99 with free shipping. Save a couple of bucks.
  3. My daughter was coming back from her monthly Army National Guard training in Pensacola, about a six hour drive from here. She called earlier tonight and said the engine blew up on the interstate on her 07 Suzuki Grand Vitara. I called the nearest Suzuki dealer and they send out a wrecker and picked her up. They didn't have time to do an extended analysis on the engine as they were close to closing, but they did say it's probably a busted camshaft and it will most likely need a new engine. The Suzuki power train warranty is 7 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Her mileage was 77K, and the seven years will be up in 13 days, so it's all covered and free. They even gave her a loaner to drive home with, also free for a week. Dodged another one............
  4. AFAIK the smallest wheels on the JK were 16" with a 5" on 5 bolt pattern. Or are you just using the tires?
  5. Very nice job. Couldn't you have reused the old bumper's plastic end caps? It would be easier and make it look even more stock.
  6. As a sidenote, almost every export MJ either got the AMC-20 or D44 rear axle as standard equipment. There was one 1987 export truck here (from Norway IIRC) that had an AMC-20.
  7. Did this yesterday. So far so good~
  8. Just a stiff ride. Thought it was because of the angle Did you have the stiff ride before the Bilsteins? They made mine ride like a buckboard. I got rid of them and went back to OMEs.
  9. :clapping:
  10.
  11. I am not, sorry :-(. I am still in avaition though working for Boeing in Charleston, SC Okay, that's cool.
  12. Off Topic: BookspanS, are you still in the Navy?
  13. How do you know? I don't see it. 54bobby (and others), why don't you edit your signature to let people know what you drive.
  14. Replace the thermal fuse. http://comancheclub.com/topic/39814-calling-all-electronics-geeks-blower-resistor-pack/?hl=resistor

Mmmmmm.... Chrome...........
  16. Hey Ben, I didn't know you moved. I know your pics are probably a prototype, but for the neo rubber hose clamps suggest it would be more betta to use genuine stainless fuel injection hose clamps mate.
  17. The XJ pump units are a mirror image of the MJ units. The MJ senders are no longer available. So you will either have to repair yours or find another at the junk yard or elsewhere.
  18. 3/8-24 is what I'm using on mine, front and rear.
  19. Actually it was in 1996, the first year of OBD2. In 1997 the MAP sensor changed (different connector but functionally the same). I'm in the process of hooking up a 96 throttle body mounted MAP on my 91 to get rid of the long vacuum line from the firewall mounted MAP to the intake manifold. Will post up later if all works as I expect it to.
  20. I used the below Teraflex extended greasable shackles to make up for the inevitable MT spring sag that occured about a year after I installed them. These shackles are 6" eye-to-eye and gave me close to a 1" lift.
  21. The only way I know would be to use a function generator simulating the frequency and amplitude of the square wave generated by the speed sensor. Would be tough to do for the average tech. There may be other methods, but I don't know of any.
  22. Unichip can't do anything based on specified RPM. The F/IC sounds much more versatile, and newer better technology. Assume "strategies" are predefined maps? If so, can you create the maps with an ordinary laptop like the Unichip, or is it proprietary, i.e. special equipment needed? Sorry for all the questions, but it sounds really cool.
  23. The Unichip can't do that. I can see the benefit. The Unichip can do that. Also the TPS and IAT signals. But it's fixed over the entire RPM bandwidth. Same for the F/IC?
  24. Agree. Have used these guys several times in the past for Benz parts, always excellent service and prices.
