  2. Also it's Renix only too, so one from an HO won't fit.
  3. CPS Gap Image Not Found
  4. Unless you drill out and enlarge the CPS mounting holes, it's a fixed gap. There's very little wiggle room. I just replaced mine with a new Mopar CPS; there was no cardboard on the tip. ASSume it's the same way on the Renix, si?
  5. Stole? More like borrowed. I thought it was very apropos for illustrating the two flashers.
  6. Great looking wagon. I love Studes especially the 50's pickups. I had a 63 Avanti R2 for a few years but finally had to sell it - couldn't afford to feed it. It required fuel with at least a 93 octane rating and averaged less than 10 MPG. Pretty quick car though.......
  7. The blue and "Wagner" cans are the flasher units on the fuse panel (drivers side foot well). Swap them and see if your symptoms change.
  8. Sorry, I meant a Durango or a stock box.
  9. Swap out the hazard and blinker flashers.
  10. Looks like he's used treated, non-treated, and a piece of stained lumber. Going for the folk art look or will all be painted?
  11. What are you using to replace the steering gear box?
  12. Check the headlamp switch connector for burned contacts - very common. Bad contacts cause voltage drop and heat, the circuit breaker trips, when cooled workee again.
  13. There are four on Ebay right now, one for a mere $16 and change.
  14. Glad to hear that Jim-san.
  15. I vaguely remember a post in which you sold your bike(s)? Or maybe I'm losing it too? :hmm:
  16. You're multi-tasking your posts too mate.
  17. Damn, had forgotten about that one. Used to do that back in the day with old Volvos as they had no hump on the hose inlets/outlets. We used the el-cheapo hair spray that made the ladies big hair look like a helmet, and just as hard. Don't know if you can even get that stuff today. Permatex Indian Head gasket shellac compound worked well too. I know that's still available, use it all the time on bike stuff.
  18. This help?
  19. And/or it's connector.
  20. That's the key. An original and unmolested MJ. Plus it is a rare fully optioned out Laredo backed up by the build sheet and VIN. This one will probably double in value within 5-6 years with very little work. Unmolested MJs are a rare animal since nearly all have been "altered" making them of little worth to the collectors. Someone made a good sound investment. Sign of things to come. Consider this when hacking up an original.
  21. Went for $8101. Good deal for both buyer and seller I think.
  22. Got a pic of the Ariel?
  23. Do you mean the belt is seated and riding properly in all the grooved pulleys but appears closer to the engine on the smooth idler pulley? When I changed my balancer that happened to me too; the belt rode on the idler pully a bit closer to the engine than before. But the belt is straight and rides true. That was about 30K miles ago. I attributed it to the rubber seperating on the old balancer. Can you post a pic of what you are talking about?
  24. Yep, no problem. They don't weigh too much. An LED third brake light on the shell is in order too.
  25. The molding around the bottom on mine was perfect, so I did nothing. The folks at the link above can probably help you out for replacement. The bed top gets a couple of layers of foam tape before setting the shell down on it. Any retailer has that tape - it's about 1-1/2" wide.
