  1. For the forth year in a row, the TX cowgirls lost a must-win game to make the NFL playoffs. Not that it makes me unhappy, because it doesn't. This was a great year for them to escape from their NFC East mediocrity since this was the weakest division in the NFL, but the cycle continues, over and over and over. Dallas has always been my least favorite NFC East team, mainly because of their self-proclamed "America's Team" years ago joke. They suck, and have sucked for years. I actually feel pity for them now, but not much. They deseve it. They have a idiot senile owner in Jerry Jones, a lousy coach in Garret, and a tough but inept QB in Romo. Sorry my friend Jay and other Cowboy lovers, no idea what the answer to this no-win situation is. But it will continue as long as their senile owner is in charge.
  2. To answer your question, these are the bolts you need. Depending on the condition of the anchor nuts, you may need to use a thread chaser (not tap) to clean them up. http://www.oconeeoffroad.com/servlet/the-37313/S-dsh-6034457-omix-dsh-ada-BOLT-7-fdsh-16X1.375/Detail http://www.cyberjeep.com/xj/pr/seat-belt-bolt-spaced-716-x-1375 And elsewhere.
  3. The part number I gave you is the correct exhaust bracket you need. But if you are happy with the steel wool and it works, go for it mate.
  4. ^^ That. Only thing is that you have a 91 so the plastic vacuum tube originates on the intake manifold, not the throttle body. Make sure that tube is connected to the MAP sensor on the firewall and that it's not cracked. Also check that the 5VDC supply voltage is present on the VIO/WHT wire on the 3-pin MAP connector (pic below) when the IGN key is on or the MAP sensor will not work. Have you checked for fault codes? Use this procedure and count the flashing lights: http://comancheclub.com/topic/28111-reading-obdi-91-and-92-mj-fault-codes/
  5. Recommend go with the Hella E-code housings, relay harness, and IPF 60W/80W bulbs. A winning combination for me since 2004. Nothing has changed since then.
  6. Rob, I tried the Autopals first also. While the light output was 100% better than the stock sealed beams, the pattern was too splashy, especially on the vertical cutoff line. I'd had E-code Hellas before and these were definitely not the same. Again, better than stock and well worth the $$, but the Hellas give a much sharper cutoff line. I've never been flashed with the Hellas, but frequently was was with the Autopals.
  7. I figured that would happen to mine too so I brought it to their shop so they could replace them. :brows:
  8. I had the cracked windshield replaced by Safelite a few years ago. It has the stainless trim all around. They asked if I wanted to retain the original trim or use a rubber gasket. I wanted to keep the trim as it was in great shape. No problems. The trim looks as it did before. I guess it depends on which Safelite location you bring it too.
  9. Why do I bother with you. :dunno: More misinformation. First you said "I noticed that 2wd and 4wd are inverted from each other or it could be a year difference." Now it's "When I switched from stick to auto I ran into it." The rubber insulator pictured below is universal for all. The smile is UP. The universal bracket for all (P/N 52003040) fits the rubber UP smile, as shown in whatever pic you posted.
  10. I prefer part numbers over pictures. They are a bit more accurate. And what does "I noticed that 2wd and 4wd are inverted from each other or it could be a year difference" mean? :hmm:
  11. Can you read? The below IS the part number for #9. 2WD and 4WD use the same part support. P/N 52003040, EXHAUST DOWNPIPE SUPPORT, 1987-2001 JEEP XJ/MJ, $20.00. You can get it here: http://www.arizonaparts.com/ Call the guy and order it if you want it. I've done business with him before - good guy.
  12. That's nice Jim. He must think very highly of you. At least he has a job, si? And don't forget, tis the season of giving.
  13. Yep. Daughter #2 and my future son-in-law (also in the USAF) arrived late Christmas Eve from Tinker AFB packing a brand new BBK 62mm machined throttle body for the stroker. Stuck it on this afternoon.
  14. You're not going to find that at RockAuto. P/N 52003040, EXHAUST DOWNPIPE SUPPORT, 1987-2001 JEEP XJ/MJ $20.00 http://www.arizonaparts.com/
  15. That's the one. James Dean Special. Thanks. Image Not Found
  16. I can not figure out what that sports car is in the commercial. It's driving me nuts, especially with those tail lights. Anyone know?
  17. Stupid asshats leading a stupider asshat into hanging up on the rocks. Then snickering while stupid #1 breaks in half. Freakin retards.
  18. Just bookmark this thread it in your browser Fred. There's really no detailed "how-to" procedure here, just a sequence of events leading to a happy ending. Si?
  19. Same here for my stroker, except I used a 96 block (same 53020569 casting number as the 97-98 blocks) w. 150K on it . I only had them go .030 overbore though to make sure I had ample room left should a rebore ever be necessary. Hopefully it won't be......
  20. Nice rundown mvusse. And no, not confused. I have a 91 so the alternate turn signal / marker light wiring was already there. When I wired in the city lights I wanted them to come on when I turned the parking lights on, and go off when you turned the headlamps on. I was concerned with back-feeding during the alternating cycles, so for the city light hot wire I tapped into the parking light hot wire feed. For the low side I tapped into the the headlight low beam hot wire which supplied the ground when the headlamps were off. But when the headlamps were on, it provided a false ground (double positive) to the city lights low side, thus turning off the city lights. Works great. I used LEDs for everything except for the city lights and headlamps of course. No diodes necessary for the 91s and up. Can't speak for the Renix........
  21. Wow! The price sure has gone up. http://comancheclub.com/topic/16853-mj-city-lights/?hl=city%20lights
  22. Is your load sensing valve now history?
  23. Did you go look at it Jim? I read the Lexus ES models from that era had the Aisin A340 auto trannys with a deeper oil pan than the Jeep AW4, and that it's a bolt-on for the XJ/MJ. Only problem might be that the dip stick might not come up on the right side of the engine as the AW4 does. Never could find that part out.
  24. what's a wayward ballon? Redwolf Make sure there's not one under your truck. Or in your truck.
  25. I was hoping to be wrong. Thanks for posting anyhow tubpilot.
