  1. Hmm. I got mine a RockAuto and they fit all the flare bracket studs very well. All I had to do was punch out a push nut hole that was missing. But that was maybe 10-11 years ago. I guess they have changed vendors. Good luck finding a usable pair in the yard.
  2. You need one of these:
  3. ^^ That's correct.
  4. http://teamcherokee.com/front-fender-liner-oem-jeep-cherokee-comanche-1984-1996/ EDIT: I just looked at the fine print on the bottom of the page, it said: ____________________________________________________________________ That being said, I replaced mine a few years ago with a set from RockAuto. They actually fit quite well and still look fine. You have to look them up using the OEM part numbers 55175008 and 55175009.
  5. MJs and XJs never had one from the factory, but ZJs did. Perhaps you could adapt one of those or a shield from some other vehicle. Or do something like this:
  6. I like it! Very creative. :clapping:
  7. Eagle prefers square Goodyear tires. :peek:
  8. New members to the forum, and some longtime members too, post technical questions in this forum but do not provide specifics of the MJ they are referring to. Like: Year of Manufacture Engine Drivetrain Body Style Etc., Etc. These details are necessary for responders to accurately answer your questions without guessing or having to ask what are the specifics of the MJ you are referring to. You can add these details easily and permanently by creating a signature or adding your truck details to your existing signature. Here's how to do it: 1. Click on the upper RH icon to open the drop-down menu 2. Click on Account, then Account Settings 3. In the Settings menu click on Signature 4. Compose your signature, or add to your existing signature 5. When complete, click Save
  9. Ok, so what MJ are you driving?
  10. Good choice.
  11. Are you sticking with the Petty Blue or going back to the original green?
  12. I also used Yukon thick gears when going from 3.55 to 4.10 along with a Trac Lok diff from a Honda Passport. Didn't have any problem with the bigger TJ bolts though, have never heard of that. AFAIK the TJ D44 is the same as an MJ D44 internally.
  13. I've always liked Jeff because he broke the mold of the typical NASCAR driver and probably did more for NASCAR's popularity nationwide than any other driver. He faced a lot of adversity from the "good 'ole boy" establishment in his early NASCAR years and always was always cool and displayed class. Not trying to take anything away from Jimmie's seven. Hell of a driver.
  14. He might be as good as Jeff (yet another California boy) when he grows up.
  15. I'm normally a Michelin guy, but tried a set of Cooper A/T3's from Discount Tire awhile back. These are nice street tires and have showed zero wear to date. Somewhat aggressive looking but not noisy, and the price was right too. I really like them. http://comancheclub.com/topic/50462-cooper-discoverer-at3-tires/?hl=cooper
  16. ^^ Buckboard shocks.
  17. OMEs are the best for a smooth ride, but you have to pay for them. Nitrocharger Sport 60046 for the front, 60032 for the back w. 0"-2-1/2" lift.
  18. It's fine. We're all interested in good dealies.
  19. Most all LED headlights have optional heating elements now but they cost a little more. Cost is the real reason folks don't buy them.
  20. Yes, the Aisin Warner Model 30-40LE is the Jeep XJ/MJ/ZJ AW4 if that's what you are asking.
  21. Nope. You'll need to replace both the existing oil pressure and temperature switches with sensors if changing to full gauges. No change needed for the harness.
  22. :rotfl2:
  23. JT's an old timer here. Stops in every five years or so, says Hey, then disappears for another five or so. He even had an MJ once as I recall. Hard to remember it's been so long................. :rotfl2: Good to hear from you mate.
  24. The HO ECU isn't primitive. The Renix junction box is. It can't remember what it did last time it was powered up and has to relearn every time. Thus longer cranking time before starting.
